Do things according to the phases of the Moon? When I was growing up people were always talking about the Farmers Almanac for predictions of how the weather is supposed to be when. When I was an older teen my sister had a baby and my step dad was talking about weaning her according to when the almanac said was the right time according to the moon cycle. Well we tried it and it worked. It worked fairly well with all my kids. And now my grandson as well. I even made sure i cut my middles daughters hair according to the almanac when it said cutting for growth. So far her hair is really growing back fast. Well when i cut my long hair off , I didn't check to see if it was the right time and well it seems like my hair isn't growing back very well at all .
So what I am wondering do any of you guys use the Farmers Almanac ?They even have it online these days.There are a lot of tips on there for crop growers ,etc. Do you have anything you do according to the phases of the moon? Am I the only one who uses the Almanac ?

I have been hearing about this since i was a kid. I am in farm country and the older farmers used to talk about well the almanac said we can look forward to Rain or snow what ever.. supposed to be bad. I was raised in a cafe and they would all congregate there for coffee in the afternoons . It is strange how they can predict so far ahead and usually be right .

before you cut my it had taken 3years for it to grow very long and we cut 12 inches off, it has grown about 6 inches since then, so the almanac was right about the right time to cut my hair.
