I love shoes, but I don't know if I love them enough to pay rent money for them. you've seen them $500-2000 and up for some shoe you probably only where on holidays because it doesn't go with your everyday wardrobe. So I ask you what's the most you've ever paid for shoes. Me my highest was $150 pair of dolce vita beam pumps at endless I love that shoe store.

I do not think that shoes are the most important thing in the world since they are just made to cover ones feet and keep them from stepping on things,I do not see why people especially women feel they need a bunch of pairs of shoes, and that they need to spend a couple hundred on a pair,me I only have one pair of tennis shoes,a pair of cowboy boots, and flip flops, and the most I have ever spent on a pair of shoes was like fifty bucks because the cowboy boots were on sale, and my old ones were falling a part because I wore them for years and years.

A hundred dollar pair of shoes is quite expensive. I am computing here with our peso equivalent. We could have real good shoe for twenty-five dollars.

Don't feel so bad. I have a friend who collects Mickey Mouse memorabilia. Says she couldn't resist buying MM t-shirts, bags, key chains, stuffed toys. I told her that everyone is entitled to one eccentricity. At least yours is shoes and you get to wear them. So cheer up. And hey, I know a few who would also spend for shoes instead of investing something profitable in the future.

I won't pay more than $50 for a pair of shoes. I only wear tennis shoes. I don't understand why women are obsessed with shoes. Most of the time, the shoes they buy aren't functional. They're painful to wear and they complain about them all the time. Buy shoes that fit, that you can walk in and shoes that you can spend all day in if necessary. Maybe that's just a sane woman talking but really. Stop being stupid. It's not worth it.

it's a personal preference, just like men and their stupid collectibles. Sorry if you find my spending habits less than frugal, But I don't need to be if I choose not to.

150 dollars for a pair of shoes that you may only wear, what, a dozen times? Bull. Of all the things to spend over a hundred dollars on and you spend it on shoes? The most I've spent is $84 or so dollars on 2 pairs of shoes but that's because what I was buying before hand wasn't holding up. And I hated even spending that much for shoes because that's just bull.

I only posted this to see how much a person would or has spent on shoes, not hear a bunch of people complain about my spending habits, sorry if you're all so cheap.

I think the most I've ever spent is £60, which is about $100. I would never spend any more than that on shoes, because I simply can't afford to. There are some boots which I really want, but they cost £180, which is far too much for me to spend on a single item. I guess I could save up for them and treat myself though :)
