I don't usually like romantic movies but this one was pretty good. The roommate was the reason why I've seen this many times.

Yea I've seen it and actually own it on VHS LOL and yes it is a fabulous movie!! LOL and if I'm remembering correctly (I've not watched it in yrs) the roommate is a crude bugger but in a very comical way (a scene with him in his underpants comes to mind)

I loved it and have watched it many times. Although it is a predictable love story there is the humour which makes it a lot better even if you know from the beginning that prince charming marries princess. I loved the roommate, his punk sister, the whole lovely family sdpecially the relation between the disabled girl and her husband. I´d love to see it again in fact. Take care!

I love it! I love Julia and Huge Grant. The best scene for me on that film is when Anna Scott (julia) says.." I'm also just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her"... yay!! I love it! hahaha... Oh I want to see that again.

It is starting to make me feel a bit old when I realised this film was released ten years ago. Also I have watched it for many times. I can not count it. I do like this film, it is a love story with some a lot comedy moments and a feel good story line that is a little predictable but sometimes there is nothing wrong with that. The film is based in Notting Hill a trendy part of London and stars Hugh Grant and Julia, Grant plays the same sort of character he always plays, mild mannered English middle class gentleman. However I never feel fed up with his performance. Same feeling to Julia. All in all, it’s one of my favourite films so far.
