no, its completely legal to share with friends, but not legal to share with strangers thats stupid

In my opinion, all illegal downloaders and downloading actions should be punished. You see, downloaders are breaking the law and need to be punished obviously. And from the point of those music and film industries, illegal downloaders and downloading actions should be punished for they are suffering due to file-sharing. Although it is a big problem for too many people are file-sharing, but perhaps we can stop pirates via cutting web access.

What? I can't believe it. Download music shouldn't be ilegal. This is the future. The discographies will create pages where you can earn money and buy CDs or Dvds.

For the most part, the only people who get in trouble are those that supply, if you will, the copyrighted material. I don't think it's very bad for people to download music like this.

it's incredibly hard to track, not to mention illegal for your ISP to sniff your records. Legality issues also vary between countries, and although some countries (in europe) are trying to stop it, its never going to stop. Is it illegal? yes. Can you likely get in trouble for it? Not likely, unless you do something really stupid.
