Talking about foods like pastries, cakes, delicacies, candies, and some other foods, which do you prefer to have, a home-made one or a ready-made one? With the home-made foods, we can assure what are the ingredients we are using; the quality, freshness, and price. Not like the ready-made foods, they are costly and we don't even know on how they are being processed. For me, I prefer to have my home-made foods so I could save money and I could use healthy ingredients. what's your choice?

Home-made is where it is at. Nothing like fresh food for taste and health. Frankly its scary what is in packaged food. Additives stripped of nutrients, sweeteners, salt, preservatives, artificial flavors...I mean what is that? coloring, created fats...yikes! Chemicals that alter texture? OMG! Some say yum....I say dumb. That is only the tip of the iceberg. No wonder we are so unhealthy as a society.

hello there... It is people's choice to stay unhealthy though we know on how to avoid or lessen these destructive agents.

Well, I guess it depends on who's making it. I usually make simple stuff when it comes to desserts, so it doesn't nearly taste as good as anything I can buy. Sure, they may be a little pricey and there are unknown ingredients in there, but they are oh-so delicious (=p). On the other hand, I have an uncle who's very good at cooking and has a quality that is comparable to the stuff you can buy, so I'll gladly take his free desserts any time. It's just unfortunate that he only cooks stuff when he's in the mood for it (which is not very often).
