Ad during shows

It's annoys me to the end of the earth when a show just gets interesting and you are interrupted by adverts! I don't even listen to the ads - I mute them. I find them a waste of my tv viewing time. I know ads are required to fund the shows (I'm no idiot) but they are just so annoying!
