Granny is getting married.

I wrote about a year ago that my 81 year grandmother had taken upon herself a boyfriend well, I am happy to say she is getting married on Dec.5 and the wedding will be in Alabama. She is as happy as a school girl. She will not be wearing white because she is no innocence and that I know for a fact. So, she has chose to wear a lilac gown and carry white lilies. I think that is so cute. My question and you there is a question, what should I give her as a wedding gift. My mother is giving the honey moon to the Bahamas and my sister is gifting a day at the spa. she doesn't appliances aor house hold things that you normally give to someone getting married. So,help me out here please.

Whoah, getting married at 81 and even going for a honeymoon, that's unique! I'd probably give her something cute like a decor, lavalamp? or perhaps nothing serious. If I could well afford, a nice brooch or a nice summer dress would also be good. A nice sun hat would be nice too, or something for the trip. By the way, how old is the husband?

The topic has been here for a long time now, I would like to ask how the wedding went? I'm pretty sure it was awesome for two people wanting to get married even at their age. What did you buy them as presents? Have a great mylot experience ahead!

It is lovely that your granny is getting married and will honeymoon in the Bahamas. I suggest that you give her some gifts like a photo album to put her honeymoon photographs in, a summer dress to wear in the sun and travel bag for her to take with her. Then she would have three things that would be special on her wedding day. Congratulations to your granny of 81 years old.

Wow, congratulations to your granny. It's good that she is able to find a new companion in life. Not everyone has that chance during their older years. I don't really know what to give to someone like your grandma who is getting married. Maybe you can give them a nice camera or something they can use to store memories of their wedding, honeymoon and life together.

She has always been fiesty and gone after what see wants so, when she brought home this guy we thought it was one of those things. But, this is where it all ended up......thanks for the idea.

Wow! thats agreat news.Its really a interesting and exciting news.Your granny must be too excited...whoo..honeymoon too.I think your granny has got a wonderful gift as Bahamas and a spa.You can gift her dresses which will complement the visit to Bahamas.you can also gift her a combined snap of both of them with a beautiful frame.watch will also be a good idea.
