Is it necessary to wear finger ring when wedding?

I read a real story from one forum, a girl felt very pity that she didn't her finger ring from her husband when her wedding, so she feel be very sad, and she didn't know why she can't get her husband's finger ring. So do you think is it necessary to wear finger rign when wedding? What is it stand for?

well in our culture finger ring is not necessary.in fact people have started adapting it in recent times more out of fashion than a cultural norm.but we do have other things of similar significance so i don't know how important it is in your culture to have finger ring during wedding.

Yes a wedding ring is very important. It symbolizes that you're already committed to your partner. It's the symbol of love and commitment. Without it you can't be distinguished from the unmarried people.
