What's the use of reputation in mylot?

You ratings affect your earnings. If you have a low rating then you get low earnings, but if you have hight ratings, then you get more earnings. Your ratings too, also depend on the quality of your posts, and the ratings you were given by other users. If you don't have a quality rating, then you won't get rated high, and if it is quality, you will get rated higher. The positvie and ngative in the respoone area, is what others will use to rate you. Some will rate posite all the time and thers will rate negaative, especially if they don't agree with you on something. Mylot says we ren't supposed to rate another user negatie jut because they don't agree with you. I think some just get their kiks dong it. They don't realize though that by doing so, they are not only hurting other users, but they are hurting themseles as well. Your reputation tells how the community is taking your participation. 10 is highest but don't feel too much for it as some good people get only 7-8 just for being good. It depends solely on the site members and not admins so some use it for enmity purpose.. ending up harming themselves! Actually your question is answered well in posts above, so don't need to add much. But just one wish: if they had a system to stop from rating + many times, people would have behaved much more nicely!
