Do you write How to articles for eHow? If so, how many articles do you have all together? If not, do you write articles for another web site? And how many articles do you have there? Do you receive a regular income from that site? And about how much on average, if you care to share? I was just curious to know how well everyone is doing with their articles.

I've written on eHow. I got only 8 articles and that hasn't been a primary focus. I write on other sites as well. Mainly, I've focused on Helium and also have pieces written on Associated Content, Triond, and will be trying out Bukisa. I've written on eHow and have one article that has really been a huge draw in page views.

Hi there babostwick, and thank you for responding in this discussion. Wow, it sounds like you are doing quite a bit online when it comes to writing articles. I have had articles on Helium and on Associated Content in the past. Besides the one article that was purchased by a magazine, the others didn't seem to make very much money. I think around $2.00 altogether. That was why I decided to stick with eHow. The best of luck to you and your online adventures!

You're absolutely right when you say it takes some work. It does seem the more I do, the more I get out of it. At this point and time, I have no other choice but to work hard and try to find the best way to make money on the Internet. I will keep working at it as long as I can. Hopefully it will all pay off in the long run!

Thanks. Same to you on that. It just sometimes takes work. I've been working with the up-fronts. I would like to see it increase a bit more though on that. That would be nice to have even more money in that respect.

I've written 32 articles for eHow. I get enough activity for a payout about every three months. I've been making about $15 per payout. I got sidetracked with another project but plan to start writing again in earnest in December. I also just started a blog but really haven't seen any payment on it yet. Besides mylot, I haven't written for any other sites but did sign up to write articles for Demand Studios. Just haven't gotten around to it yet. Good luck.

Thanks for the good luck wishes LaurenInLA, and thank you for your insight on eHow. I have been doing pretty good. I have been receiving payout every month since February. I try to write a few articles every month, although my ultimate goal is to average 30 articles a month. I just haven't reached that yet, because of so many other demanding projects. Right now, I have 92 articles. This month, I have seen quite a spike in my income. I think it is because I have been putting links to different articles on my Facebook page and on Twitter. Although, the articles that are doing so well aren't necessarily the ones that are earning the income. LOL My screen name is montytravels on eHow and here is the link to my profile. http://www.ehow.com/members/montytravels.html Thanks again, and have a great day!

I signed up for eHow but haven't written anything for them. Ever time I write a good how to I want to put it on my own blogs or on EzineArticles so they point back to my sites.

Hey there WebMann, and thank you for your response in this discussion. As well as you are doing with your blogs, I don't blame you for wanting to keep your How To articles in your own site. I was doing this for a long time, but didn't seem to get any hits on my site. Then, when I started writing eHow articles, they seem to be a lot more lucrative. I was hoping to have 100 by the end of October, but am only up to 92 for now. Thanks again, and have a great day!
