Please Help, My Opera is not connecting!!!

Hi great mylotters. Recently i noticed that my Opera 9.0 was not connecting the internet again, while other browsers do. I prefer opera to others in some operations, so i need it badly.
I tried to upgrade to version 10 may be it would connect, it was the same story. I uninstalled it and reinstalled the old version 9, no way. Please how do i make it to connect again. My Mozilla Firefox and explorer are working, but i need opera for some features which are not in other browsers.

Hello, well for starters I have to say that I am not having problems with my Opera. I can say that I did one time have a problem with it not connecting so what I did is unplug my phone and then plug it back in because sometimes my phone was not working right. If that is the case that could have been why it was not working. Um what type of internet do you have? I have roadrunner so there for when I have this type of problems I have to unplug my modem for 10 seconds and then I have to plug it in and then it will work again. Another thing you could is call your internet provider and ask them why this would be doing it to you. Other then that I am not sure what else it could be.
