I need help regarding some new pets ?

My aunt was packing up as she is going to shift to a new place around and she called me up telling that she found three small kittens in the storeroom . So i will be going tomorrow to pick them up and bring em home . But the problem is that my moms ultra hygienic and she cant stand any poo poo on the floor or any where . Well i heard that they like sand for it so i created a sand box but how to i (ugh)tell them to poo in it !

Taking on such a responsablity,shows you have a good heart. Asking for help, shows you are smart.
You need to check them out at a vet, and ask him questions. Get a kitty book, so you know how to care for them. Cats learn and cannot be untrained so easy. Make sure you have atleast 3 kitty boxes when they are grown. For now, one large will be okay. But, you MUST keep it clean. I clean mine 2 to 3 times a day. If the kitty thinks the box is to dirty, it will find a place you will not like. Never hit them. Buy them vitamins, or an excellent quality cat food. It must not have by products or corn or wheat in the first ingredients. Get the quality ones in the Pet store. It will help them be healthier. Good luck.

Just put them in the box, many times that is all it takes, if that doesn't work you have to catch them in the act and then put them in the box, most of the time Mom cat teaches them what to do. Go on line to the internet for other ideas. Cats are the easiest things to potty train.

Your last lines were a big relief to hear mate , i am actually astounded to hear that cats as you say can be easily potty trained . Thats good to hear but to catch them during the action is not very cleany to hear though . But thank you very much for letting me know this !

I love cats, i just hate there poo. It really really stinks.
That's a good idea there though, I also had that idea from my girl friend. Cats really like to poo in a sand box, makes it easier to remove there poo. Then on day, when you remove the box out of the house, they will automaticaly looked for it and poo outside.

I love kittens, but taking care of three 'found' cats can get pricy. with shots, flee bath, and other vet things (worms) you could be into some real money, hope you internet business is doing well! Are you using actual sand? or cat litter from the store. Since you have three you may want to get some of that litter that has the freshening agent in it. The other advice you ahve gotten is great as far a potty training. Good luck and enjoy.
