Is online status Dangerous??

I was wondering....
I don't know about you, but first thing that I do after logging in here is to check upon my listed/unlisted friends and see what they were up to during the time I was offline. And sometimes they need some quick reprimand! well, for that they need to be online just at the moment. Wish I could confirm that!
If you check, you'll find discussions 10/11 months old about providing this facility. Umm.. not interested in making them alive while the OPs are lost in time warp.
Again, I have worded it differently, so don't call me a copycat..
One thing more, if you like the idea of online status, go and contact the admins yourself. They are not listening to me now a days. ;(

Hi fugi, why not just go to their profile and see if they are active or not? If they aren't it shows how long it is since they've been on. No need for a special feature and it would be misleading anyway. I leave mine turned on when I'm doing something else.

That's right but...
You know I'm pretty much of a stalker
so I need special weapons. It says the person last logged in 2 hrs ago. But that can be anything. Maybe they logged out in two minutes only. And if you leave yours turned on, well next time I can give you a lecture on that!
