I have one cat that lives with me called Sooty. He is an American short haired cat and he's black. He's a year old. I also have a ginger tom cat called Jasper, but he lives with my parents. I thought it was kinder to leave him there when I moved out then to take him with me. He is 17.

Yea I can see why you did that. Bet Sooty is cute.

He's my little baby. He is very cute and affectionate. But unfortunately he is also a brilliant hunter and has taken to bringing me presents everyday. I don't mind when he is killing any mice or rats, but the other day he brought me a baby bird and it was still alive. I had to take it to the vets who thankfully saved it. That wasn't so cute of him

Sooty was also rescued. I got him when he was 5months old. No one wanted him as he wasn't a little kitten anymore but he also wasn't an adult. Seems the ones in between are left alone as no one wants them. But he was perfect for me, I didn't have to worry about toilet training him. He had already had his first injections and been micro chipped. So he fitted in really well. I can't understand why he wasn't wanted as he is adorable

Sounds like people don't care for their pets. It was nice of you to take care of them.

When I was living with my parents, we had four cats and one cat, I adopted from my ex when his cat had a litter. She is about 8 years old now and I could not take her with me when I moved and got married this past Janurary. She has gotten attached to the other three cats my parents owned. Also the apartment building I lived in didn't allow cats anyway so it was a no win situation for me lol. After moving this past August to a bigger place and found out we were allowed to keep cats, I planned with my husband to adopt a couple of kits once we got settled in. On September 19, we adopted two black male domestic cats named Cous Cous and Jodi from a no-kill animal shelter. Cous Cous will be a year old in March and Jodi will be two next June. I love them to pieces even though they can drive me nuts sometimes at night when I am trying to sleep lol.

We have 5, 4 adults, and one itty bitty baby kitty, who was born about 5 days ago, I believe. Tis one of the luckiest kittehs we've ever had. Her mom had a baby before she had her, and about 2 or 3 days later, she had this one. We should've named her lucky, lol.

I've got four adults ranging from 4 through to 14, and I just got a kitten a couple of months ago so the grand total is five. Quite a moderate nimber in comparison to some people, but quite enough for me at the present!
