Can you make coffee well? Or is Tea making your speciality?

In my mother's place we were drinking only coffee. I never tasted tea those days. But after marriage, my husband liked tea and I was making it. But coffee remains to be my favourite and I am expert in it. Tea I make, but some times it is good sometimes it is light or strong I am not an expert in it. How about you? Can you make coffee well? Or is Tea making your speciality?

hi, i make coffee very well than tea, i just drink coffee when i was alone, before marriage at mother's place i use to drink only instant coffee after marriage i use to drink filter coffee, its very nice to drink, i love coffee, thankyou have a nice day.

Hai Neelimagaru, your discussion came in today's Mylot Digest. Congrats. Well. So you are also a coffee lover like me. I think instant coffee once in a while is ok. Daily drinking may, I am not sure, will harm our health. Lot of chicory is added to that which is not good for health. Filter coffee is best. We can add our own quantity of chicory to it.

Hi Buchi, I think the word "well" here means the drink readied is tasty and loved by the person as well as ourselves. If so I dare to say I always make both the coffee and tea well 
Yeah, I admit that I'm good in preparing the two beverages at home, for my husband and son love them very much. Actually I have to know what taste they really love I then could prepare the right flavor of coffee or tea that they love 
They always complain that the savor of tea and coffee entertained in the restaurants or food courts are not the right taste that they wish. Yeah, sometimes the coffee served might be to sweet, too robust, or.... As far as we know the drinks served in outside are prepared for entertaining the general taste of majority of customers. So it's quite difficult or impossible to cater for all the taste of different customers.

my dear, I do have the same habit as well. Only the own brewed coffee could “quench” the conflagrant desire of sipping coffee. Therefore for me, the best coffee is not depending on the price or reputation of the good quality coffee served in the famous outlet. The most important thing is whether the savor of the drink really suits my taste 
I usually would carry around with me some coffee powder and milk powder sticks(small packet in long tube shape) whenever having vacation. In case the coffee available outside or in the hotel couldn't entertain my appetite well, I then will make my own coffee in the hotel room

You are more particular than me. I at least drink again at home. But you carry coffee and sugar with you to the hotel. My aunt was carrying nescafe instant coffee powder with her, whenever she was travelling in a train. She says the coffee given in a train is very watery. I will not enjoy it. So I add this instant coffee powder and the coffee will become thick and gives satisfaction to me.

Very correct. Hoteliers have to cater to many customers. But at home we prepare as per our family members' taste. That is why, when I go out, even if I had coffee in the hotel or in anybody's house, after coming home, whatever may be the time, I make little coffee of my home taste and drink. Then only I get satisfaction.

I am not the best when it comes to making coffee, but my husband makes an amazing cup of coffee. He makes regular coffee, espresso, cappuccino, french press coffee, and Turkish coffee. He used to work in a coffee shop, so you know he's good at it.

Vav, you are lucky, you can drink so many types of coffee at home itself. Need not go to a coffee shop. All those are coffee with different taste and I love to taste them.

My mom was a major coffee drinker but she drunk tea too. I myself have never liked coffee. I like tea much better. Or a hot chocolate or cappucino isn't bad either.

I use to have only coffee. But once when i had been to my friends place i had tea there from then onwards i use to have both coffee & tea.
I can prepare tea well.

How r u? Even I like to have coffee early in the morning. I would prefer filter coffee rather than Instant one.
I think I can prepare well.. why don't u come to my residence and taste the coffee prepared by me.

Karunasuresh, welcome to Mylot. I think you are new here. You have responded to my discussion but thought that the earlier responded person Neelima has posted this discussion. She has also responded like you to this discussion. Since you are new, I thought you did not know, that is why I am telling this. So you too like coffee and that too filter coffee and that you can prepare well is it? That is really nice. Wherever you go, you can prepare coffee yourself and get good coffee anywhere.
