Do you ever treat yourself to the things that may end to worse?

When feeling low, a lot of us get the urge to give ourselves a treat. It depends on what we choose. Treating ourselves to a long walk, having window shopping in the mall, is a good idea. But there are things we choose as "treats" frequently aren't good for us. When you're feeling blue or overwhelmed, its tempting to try to pick yourself up by indulging in a guilty pleasure, but unfortunately, the pleasure last for a minute. Then feeling of guilt, loss of control, and other negative consequences because of the blues. There are times that we think of "I'll feel better after I have a few glass of wine or beer..., ice cream..., cigarette...," will this really a good idea. There is a warning sign on this: " I deserve this", " I need this," that's a signal that I'm trying to justify a pernicious "treat" I sometimes crave for sweet food. Especially, ice cream with almonds, peanuts and marshmallow or Chocolates with almonds like Snickers. Or I have to go to food trips. But I have realized that it is not good for my health already. How about you? Do you ever treat yourself to things that, in the end, just make you feel worst? Or have you found a good treats, that actually make you feel better?

I don't have any guilty pleasures, I have just pleasures. When Iam stressed I don't treat myself to anything until I feel better. For me a treat is something sweet. When I am really upset,I can't eat so a special treat wouldn't help.

I don’t have major vices like smoking or drinking but I do give in to chocolate when I’m feeling sad or stressed and I know it is not very good for me especially if I want to lose a couple of pounds! I am not too bad over all but it is the one thing I would like to change about myself is to treat myself to healthier things and activities.

I treat myself maybe 3 times a week to things I like such as Breyers Rocky Road Ice Cream, a snickers bar or twizzlers. The whole trick to it is not to go crazy. If I have ice cream one night I won't have it again for at least 3 days if not more. If you go nuts eating the whole bag of chips or all the cookies yes its going to make you feel worse. I have learned self control so I don't feel sick.

I don't have food craving maybe that's why I'm still the same build (almost) like when I was in college. I only eat when I'm hungry, I can even prolong it if I don't like eating. I think that's the main reason why a lot gained weight, it's because they give in to their hunger. Cheers!
