Let's face it. It seems that these days everyone wants their employees to be bi-lingual. Why? Because no matter what someone tries to tell you, being in business is all about the money, especially if you're in sales, and nearly every job in this country has something to do with sales. Whether it's eselling a product or a service, You are probably selling something in one way or another. Being bi-lingual, or even multi-lingual can only help. Especially in commission sales. It's a little hard to sell to someone when you don't speak the same language. That's why I've started a website devoted to language learning programs. You see, you don't have to go to college for a year or 2 and spend thouands of dollars. You can learn a new language in the privacy of your own home, right on your computer, and spend less than $100.00. Sound interesting? Visit my website and see what your think. http://www.wjbglobalunlimited.com

Being Bi-lingual is not that important but it is an advantage. A bilingual individual has more opportunities to talk with different people respectively, that is they can take to work with people with different language rather than just local one. It is not that important, because to be an employee specially in the non-English speaking countries, to be able to work does not need that you are a bilingual or not. But, we should accept the fact that a bilingual individual enjoys such advantage in working opportunities.

it will depend on what industry you are working on.if you work in a call center or in a multinational company, being bilingual is an advantage.it can also help you when interacting with foreign office mates.but I think being multi-lingual is a good quality to develop personally.it can make you more flexible, especially if you want to work in another country.
