Why we humans betray one another?

What do you think are the reasons why people betrayed their family, friends and partner? Why they make those bad decisions on betraying those people close to their heart?

I think some reasons why is... Misunderstanding,... Broken Trusts, hmmm
They have been blinded by anger thus makes them do rush decisions... also Contentment..

Yeah, sometimes it could be because of anger. When someone's heart is clouded with anger and pain they always tend to look on who and why they're feeling that way and sometimes it's only on taking revenge through betrayal makes them feel they deserved to do that.

Not all people do that of course but the ones that do...I believe their motivation comes from GREED and getting what they want at all costs even if it means hurting the ones they claim to love..

Yeah, the reason could be greediness. That's mostly our problem ever since, there's always greediness in our heart, that we always combat. And sometimes we can't overcome it that leads to betrayal.

Yeah, it could be because we're not contented in our life, we always look and long for more than we actually need. We always want everything that others have. And we don't really know what makes us happy, we don't know what we really want, that's why we get envy with other peoples achievement, so in order to get what they have we tend to betray them, that's a sad reality.

unfortunately too many people do these things. Its no sad because when someone so close to you betrays you especially a family member or a friend, its never nice. Those are people that you count on and you trust. When they betray you, your world sort of comes to an end and you start not to believe no one. You start thinking that everyone is your enemy unfortunately. I could never do this not only to someone close to me but even to people that arent that close to me. Its no good to hurt others to achieve your happiness.

I'm sticking with the comment made before as the reason being selfishness. They are so consumed with what they want and need that they completely forget about others close to their heart. Sometimes the betrayal take place in secret because they know it is wrong and they think they won't be found out.
