Will You Be Watching "V"?

Will you be watching the new ABC drama called "V"? It will start this Tuesday, November 3, during primetime. I was kind've lukewarm about it until I happened to be on the ABC website looking for something I saw on Good Morning America. I learned that one could watch the first eight minutes of this new show. After watching it, I am now very excited about seeing and following this show.
If you liked "X Files" you'll probably enjoy "V" (my belief from what I know so far). Visitors/aliens arrive on earth. Some people welcome them and others are skeptical. The video on the beginning of the show was so well done--exciting--that I'm thinking it will be very well executed, as was the "X Files".
I'm going to step out on a limb and predict that this show is going to be a big hit. Therefore, I am very interested in finding out whether others are planning to watch this first show. Are you?

I want to try it and hope that it's better than the original which the syfy channel is replaying Monday and Tuesday. I may try to record and watch those with my DVR since it's been so long since those shows ran. Whatever happened to Marc Singer?

I saw the original yesterday (Sunday) when SyFy channel had a V marathon. I'm so glad I did as I think it will make it more fun to watch this new show. Marc Singer was good in it and I hadn't thought about it before but I don't think I've seen him lately.

I did not like X Files, but I will be watching "V". I don't think I am a fan of these kind of shows anymore, but I am going to be curious about this show because I watched this in the 80's. I couldn't remember what the story was before, but I remember the aliens eating mice.

I've heard that there was an earlier show but I sure don't remember it. Yeah, I guess that eating mice would certainly be memorable!

I dodnt know that thre are many thing that are on tv and I just hink that there are some good shows and some that are not so good. I jus think that there are many shows that get alot of hype and also are good and some that get alot of hype and are not so good. It just depends I guess.

I agree. I don't like to waste my time on watching shows that I don't like that much. You made a good point that just because a new show gets a lot of hype doesn't mean that it's really that good. However, I think "V" is going to be good and I don't like all sci-fi.
