Hello All!! So we are moving today. It has been a month long process though. The ladys whos house were moving into has so much stuff it took us a month to pack it all up and get it moved. Now that the hard parts over I can finally move my stuff in. It should only take a few hours and I will be in. YEA!!!!!
Anyone have any good moving stories they would like to share?? I would love to here about them!!!

Good luck with your move! I know it is a lot of work!!! I have really only moved once in my life. I moved from IL to Texas. My husband and I sold almost everything we had so we could move ourselves and save money on moving costs. It has taken us a long time to buy new furniture and re-stock our house, but it was kind of fun. We basically got to start over here!

Thanx! Its fun to buy new stuff and start over so to speak. We move pretty often like once every 2 years or so. I hope this is the last time for a long time. My biggest move was from Az to where I live now in Pa. That was fun. Three days cross country in a moving truck!

Haha! Good no! I've been living in this house since i was 4, and the moment i moved in, i had an asthma attack because the lady left it really dusty! Glad to hear you're having fun and you're excited about moving in then! Hopefully it won't take you a month to unpack, as that'd just be stressful. ;)

I know about the dust and the hair. This lady has three dogs who shead bad and the dust here is terrible. But thats what the vaccuum is for!! LOL! Oh no I will be unpacked in just a couple days. I dont joke around!! Thank you for your time and response!!

Good luck with your moving. Yes, it does take a long time to pack up all the possessions. It can be stressful packing them all into the van or lorry. I moved four years ago from a tiny cottage to a small house. Now I have a disabled son I should think about moving again. This time it would be to a bungalow.
When I moved in 2005 my friend helped me by driving a van with all my possessions in. We drove down with my child and my dog. We spent a night at my sister's house before I could get the keys at 12 noon. I took my dog for a walk and he ran down on to what he thought was grass. He came out wet because it was really the river! A few days later I went off to the Channel Islands for short break.
