can we add snails to aquarium ? what does they do and are they friendly

i have 4 gold fish and 2 ballon molly.what r pleco useful and are they compatible with my fishes?

I have an aquarium and I don't consider putting snails along with the fish. Snails tend to lay eggs a lot and soon the aquarium with be littered with eggs and they move a lot too. Unless your aqaurium is completely enclosed, you will find them all over the place outside your aquarium.
