I have learned english for many many years. And now, i'm really very confused. Sometimes, i get bored of learning english, and sometimes i just want to quit. I just don't why i can't learn this language well after so many years studying. Especially, i feel listening is the toughest point for me to break. I usually can't follow the speaker's words soon enough. That's really embarrassing for me. How do you think about learning english, and have you ever been through such feelings? And how did you conquer these problems? Would you like to share your story on learning english with me? I believe your advice would be very helpful for me, and don't hesitate to lend a hand to me, come on. Thanks a lot in advance.

It is one of the most difficult languages to learn. There are tons of irregular verbs, and a majority of the words aren't spelled phonetically.

Thank you very much for your kind response. Yes, i agree with you. English is very difficult for me to learn it well, especially on understanding the words people speak. I just think there are so many new words and kinds of expression.
