There is a song my husband and I are listening to. I am not sure if I have ever heard it before, but I know that my husband has. It's a really great song and to be honest it's making me tear up. The song lyrics, are as follows in link form, and are not a referral link.

I know that we all need to make a difference, and I think that doing something like this is just the first step. I'm not saying you have to get out in the middle of the night to help someone, but you can call your local authorities and tell them that someone is stuck out in the road.
If we all just helped out each other more, we'd be a lot better and happier place.
So as a challenge, what ways can you help others this holiday season? This can be online and offline.
If you need help, and I can help, don't hesitate to just tell me.
Even if it's just a virtual hug, I'd be happy to give one!

It is a really nice song, and everyone can make a difference if they try,and more people need to look out for each other, and if you see someone on the side of the road you can call for help,or even stop and ask them if they are okay, especially since Christmas coming up because it is the celebration of Jesus's birthday and he would want us to help each other since we are all children of God and it is better to love each other then to hate each other,I love you.

Good Conquers Evil. I think that a lot of people should remember that, that we all need to do more for each other, and we'll be a generally happy populus as well.

I agree, more people should ask god for guidance, and ask him to show them the right way, and how to do the right thing.

I try to help people out whenever possible. I don't have money, but that usually is not the kind of help that most people need, anyway. Most people just need a little kindness and to realize that there people out there that care about them. I know it sounds corny, but society has become very negative, and sometimes people just need someone to say that they care. It is a very easy thing to do, especially if you really mean it, but most people just don't take the time to do it.

Most people either don't care, or don't care enough to be kind to one another. That's really all we need, I agree, is kindness. Just a helping hand, and a shoulder to cry on, or a hug to be given... With just those simple things, our world would be a lot better.

We are in total agreement on this one, SomeCowgirl. Unfortunately, there is far more importance placed on wealth and material things than basic human kindness, which is very easy to give and costs nothing but is in very short supply lately. I agree that if more people would do the latter, than this world would be a much nicer place for everyone to enjoy.

Hi some cow girl: it's a beautiful feeling to find a message like this in a song and, as you ask i would like to give you a virtual hug while i'm hoping you, your husband, your relatives and those you love. As you mention, there are a lot of things we can do to help the others, that's the real meaning of Christmas in my opinion, specially being Christians we have to perceive human's pain and help to make this a better world. Thanks for your advice and have a nice day.

Yes the true meaning of Christmas is to give and receive love and hope... to be charitable and share... I appreciate your response starsailover.
