What if you were told that your first husband would die? How would you manage that?
I was unfortunately told several years ago that I had some fate like that. I try not to think about it, but now that I've found someone, it's taunting me. How do you deal with this?

A proper fortune teller would never say a person will die. EVER. They are supposed to have some Code Of Conduct whereby if they pick something up in their head that is really bad they cannot disclose it. They can talk about health issues - whether it be yourself or others - but they won't and shouldn't say something like "You will die of cancer in 5 years' time." I know all this because my clairvoyant (who is very good, by the way) told me. So please do not take what was said seriously. I suggest you forget about it.

This just made me feel good today. I do hope I could forget it, it would be truly heart breaking for me if I am to lose the love of my life. I just hope that someday I could forget and truly pass though what he said and prove him wrong. Still I am traumatized now but I know I need to trust God more than that 'fortune'.
Thanks for the thoughts, have a great MyLot experience ahead!

Laydee, most fortune tellers say things in a way that they can proven right most of the time. You were told your first husband would die. Who has a husband who will not die? and if you are married to him when that occurs, you will be hurt by it - whether that's a year from now or 50 years from now.
I went one time to a fortune teller. I was told I would marry someone dark and handsome. My hubby is dark for a white man, and he was a hottie! Does that mean she really could see my fortune? Probably not. Anyone I fell in love with would be a hottie in my eyes, and 2/3 of the men in the world are darker complected. Her odds were pretty good of scoring!
Lay your fears aside and don't let a fortune teller poison your romance. It's living that's important anyway, not dying. Whether you have a year together or 50 years doesn't matter - it's how you live them that counts.

it depends on the fortune teller. some are real and do a good job and interesting, while others are garbage liars trying to mess with you for the money. usually, the real ones will not take money for you. they have a gift and want to help others with this gift that they are born with. but trash try to take advantage for lonely and hopeless people looking for hope in all the wrong places. if u meet someone like that, run in the opposite direction. they r full of S#@&!

I don't think I believe in fortune telling. It is not logic that how a person can see our fortune, what is up ahead of us when everything has been planned and of course, if he can see my fortune and future,it is probably done by psychology hypnosis and as well just reading our mind but not our future.

I know, I truly know these things. But I guess I was just taken aback when he suddenly told me those words without even my consent. I think I should just forget about it and pray that none of those things happen.
Thank you very much for the response. Have a great MyLot experience ahead!

I would trust God. God wants the best for us as a lovely father He is.
Now if you believe in something your faith will make it happen. some
people practice negative faith which is believing the negative. Put your
life in God's hands and do not believe what that person said. The Word of
God advice us to think in what is good (positive).

Indeed I should just trust God and God knows all. I know that we all die, but I trust that God will give us a good life together and our family and friends and everyone too. I just wished that that person hasn't said anything. There are just times when my faith falters, but I know that God only knows.
Thanks for the response. Have a great MyLot experience ahead!

i have not try going to the fortune teller simply because i don't like it. I don't want them to tell me what's my future or how will i live my future or that my love one's will die or i will win a lotto. Maybe because if they try to tell me all those things, my mindset will be on what they said, which is not good, but actually it just depends on the person on how they will take it. I don't really like to believe in them. Some are just coincidence, that's why some are die-hard fan of fortune tellers.

I dont want to know so It makes no matter to me. However I think people who honestly think its just us are pretty high on themselves. There are alot of things that have happened that are unexplainable. Some can be explained away. Some cant. I believe that there are people who have special gifts. I just dont indulge. dl

There are people who have the gifts to foretell what will happen, but I think it's best not to go to fortune tellers as they seldom tell you all the good things you want to hear. The answers or predictions they will tell you are sometimes very scary and you wouldn't want to think that it will happen in the future and influence your mind. I would rather pray and discover what has in store for me myself then to know about something painful that I could not do anything to change, but then again, it is only a telling and anything coincidence could happen, right?! And, I always believe more in God...

Fortune telling is fun. As far as I can remember I have had my palm read. When I went home I only think about the positive things the fortune teller have said. I never believe it when it is negative :-)

nope I don't. I believe that all the things that are happening to us is shaped by our own free will. Most fortune tellers are more of psychologists rather than divinity experts. They used what they observe from a person to predict what he has been through or what the person would like to hear.
I believe that only you can shape your future. I believe in predestination and God knows what would happen to us. However, the reason he knows is not because we don't have free will. Rather it is because, he just knows everything.
Everything is still up to us.
