you can cheer up as someone is replying to the discussion you have started. but What can one do for this if no one is interested to respond any discussion. there no other way than to start a new discussion or to respond the discussion others started. but if you are not getting any response to your discussion then sure there is might something not good or interesting in discussion you started.

hey chores! you are not the only one with discussion having no response. i too have such days when no one seems to be interested in my post or they are simply busy. to my surprise i had even got a response to a topic which had no response after three years. so buck up and get going...its part of the lotting process.take it as a a opportunity to experiment with your posts and see the difference...happy lotting...all the best

This happens to everyone don't be hard on your self! Your still fairly new here, and there is a lot to learn, first I'd recommend you do more responses and make more friends. this is the basics here for mylot! Don't get to worried about doing posts, posts are really no big deal and you don't get paid for posts! You get paid for typing! Think about your posts first! You want to appeal to a global audience! Do not post just to get something out there your wasting your time! Try to ask for opinions this is the key! Not about narrow fields like sports or local questions, if you do that you narrow down your potential responders to a specific few! tdemex

I had one discussion that had no responses for quite a while until one of my friends took pity on me and responded to it. He was the only responder, but it still was nice and made me feel better. When I am bored and can't find anything that I want to respond to and don't want to start my own discussion, I go to the "no responses" section of myLot and find some older discussions with no responses to reply to. I think that is a nice way to spend my time, because it draws attention to some older discussions that might not have been seen before. I find it odd, however, that very few of my responses to these discussions get answered by the original poster. Perhaps that is why they do not get a lot of responses, because they do not respond to anyone's comments on their discussions. I can see that is not the case with you, but perhaps that is the reason for some other people not getting responses to their discussions. The more you respond to comments on your discussions, the more people will want to interact with you and respond to more of your discussions.

I faced the problem.Every time I make post I'm not expected any response.Try another discussion.maybe your topic is not interested or to common. What I found in mylot people always response to discussion that something new or not so familiar. So don't give up to start discussions.Have a nice day.

If you need more people to respond you can try to draw their attention by adding a picture to your discussion or you can try to think of something that is generally and easy to respond to. Pretty much like the title of this current discussion. I hope this helps. This happens to me a few times and sometimes it's me being to specific about something and I think people find it difficult to respond to so keep it simple or at least interesting.

I would start a discussion that everyone can relate to.
