Do you manaage to keep you house/bedroom tidy? My room i always seem to be tidying and never quite seems tidy enough! Im redesigning it though so everythings a bit all over the place at the moment! Although my room is a bit of a mess, im quite a tidy person really! I really want a tidy neat room where everthing is in the right place. Although i find, even when my room is a mess i generally know where everthing is. I remember having a messy room when i was little and came home from school one day and my mum had moved everything and then i didnt know where anything was and i couldnt find anything i wanted and i was really annoyied! Tidying clearly has to be done by yourself, and not someone else! What do you think?

It's a constant struggle for me. I want...I NEED a tidy environment...I am the only person I can trust to tidy it properly...but I HATE tidying. I can ALWAYS find something else I would rather be doing. So my place never gets tidied unless people are coming over...or until it gets so bad that I have to move a bunch of things just to clear enough space on the kitchen table so I can sit down and eat and not drip spaghetti sauce over important papers. I have systems coming out my ears to cope with this, I've just never figured out a system that would help me implement it!!!

Yep i know how you feel! I tidy my room and it actually looks good! Then slowely stuff starts to build up till it just looks aweful! Eventually i make a big effort to tidy it again, its just like a big loop and nothing ever gets solved long term! I normally avoid tidying like you, but once i start i just want to carry on and get everything clean!

Of cause I very like the neat room like most of you ,but as my age grown,I feel there is more and more thing I need to do, I expect to tidy my room every day but I find there is a little time to do it ,so I always tidy my room one time for a week or longer time now, and I do it very cursorily every time. So I think it's time to change this bad habit now, I believe that the neat room could bring you the neat feeling,and it's healthy to your life.

I always try to keep my house tidy but it doesnt always work out that way.. With a 1 and a 4 year old boy always making a mess it is hard to have it clean all day long.. I am the type of person that cant relax in a messy house. SO I am constantly trying to pick up after the kids.. Needless to say by the night time I am just too exhausted.LOL

Define messy: my room! hahaha Actually I share the room with my sister, that is why I am too lazy to fix it, I'll get organized when I get my own room or my own house hehe

You want ro clean the house, the house is designed to be a big factor. I prefer the simple and practicalhouse, this house of my laziness, but it's suitable foe me.

My house is messy with my sons train tracks and care bears all overt the place. I try to tidy up but it sometimes feels as though I`m fighting a losing battle with his toys.

I am a very tidy organized person. I love it that way, and get stressed if it is messy or not organized. My hubby and cats constanly make messes, so I am constantly cleaning up.

I think I'm reasonably neat. I'm not OCD about neatness like some people I know, but it does bother me to let mess stay for too long (I have to make allowances for mess, I have a 3-yr-old). My problem, however, is that I was not trained to keep a house. I grew up with maids and no chores at all and now as a help-free SAHM (by choice), I'm paying for that kind of upbringing. My daughter will definitely be given more responsibility. :)

I like to keep my place pretty tidy, although this can get pretty hard seeing as I am a college student. I have two other roommates, and we share a house off campus. One of my roommates and myself like to keep our house pretty clean for a college house, but the other continually pits the place out, and it gets very annoying for the two of us to keep cleaning up after him. Its getting to the point where next time I clean up for him, I'm just going to throw all his stuff outside and let it freeze.

It is a habit to keep the house tidy or messy. Some people like tidy and do their house cleaning and feel uncomfortable if not. But some people are random and put goods everywhere.

well it depends, usually I leave my room messy in order to find things while working,I can't stay focused when everything is just super organized O_o so I leave it that way and only clean and organize my room during weekends or when someones gonna drop by ^^;

i like to have my house looked lived in, but i'm not good on the tidy factor. i get frustrated when my partner leaves a trail of clothes, through the house and won't clean up after himself. my son has to clean up the room he's got his tv in, but that's not gone far. i usually get annoyed at someone who cleans up something, put things in place i don't like. it just feels like their stepping on your feet.

My house is fairly tidy yes considering I have two small children both under 6 years old! Obviously it has toys laying around and as fast as I make their beds they are back up there sitting on them and making a mess its ok though its good mess shows they can have fun at home and i dont really want them growing up being shouted at all the time over a few toys on the floor. My house is clean tho and to me there is a huge difference if its clean and untidy im happy if its unclean and untidy then i get annoyed!

Oh how i really love to keep our house clean and well organize but it seems it never happen yet.We are busy working and sometimes i couldn't just clean it well.It gives me a headache living in a messy house so sometimes i just clean it slowly ,part by part lol!.For now we are remodelling our kitchen so just imagine how it looks like.We are still on the process of repainting it and just go over it when have time.Its hard to manage our time.We both work hard so we don't have enough time to work at home.

Yes! I absolutely agree! I abhor it when people try to clean my room or just touch anything that belongs to me. I like to have control over my room. Though, majority of the time, it is really messy; but I can still find all the things I need. I make exceptions for my room to be clean, but I can not stand it when any other room in the house is messy or dirty, especially the kitchen and bath areas. Every night, before bed, I tidy up the kitchen and bathroom, so I can sleep well, without stressing out.
