Due to evolution of our technology, there are a lot of electronic devices being invented. And of this is the invention of laptop. Before, everyone aspire to buy a desktop, because the work can be be more easier if you have your own desktop at home. However, not all people have the capacity to buy desktop, I for one, we are not that rich to have a desktop of our own. But now, almost everybody has a desktop, and not only that, even almost everybody has its own laptop. During the old times, only those working employees uses the laptop, unlike today, laptops are being use by all (students, working employees, businessman and not to mention those kids who do their researchers on the internet). This only shows that technology forms a part of our everyday living and one of this is the evolution of laptop. Hence, in the coming days, dont you think laptop can be consider as part of our necessity? Aside from the fact, laptop is the device that we can use to go through the internet.

hi, I think its the technology that is making our life easy and invention of Pc made us do lot of things at the comfort of chair. I feel that laptop is necessity if you are regular traveller or have to move through remote areas otherwise desktop can solve your purpose. I like my laptop though i am not a traveller but i feel its importance will be felt more in travelling. Technology has become a part of daily activities in human life presently then obviously any product related to it is also a necessity.

People now a days are adapting to current technology. It is not far from the fact, the possibility of laptop as a necessity will be real. Because, we, people always crave for stuffs that give us comfort and satisfaction. Laptop, I would say, give us a lot of reasons of dreaming to have one, and atleast, the best of its kind.

Well , in my case, I think it is....'coz it gives me a lot of entertainment. I even thought that I can survive without adventure if only I have one. Yeah, I don't have it yet. I hope I can get one , soon...Though it's kinda impossible.

of course, laptop has been part of my life. It's hard for me to image my life without a laptop. With a laptop, i can do a lot of things a want to do , normally whatch some video clips and chat with friends. For now, i also realize the advantages of a laptop can bring to my study and work. I use it to connect with others more effective than a moble phone, besides, i use it to search a large amout of information, and it's the best equipment to watch TV operas when u'r without a TV. In China, i found that most boys prefer desktop to laptop , because desktop is faster than laptop when playing games when it comes to wire speed. What's more, laptop looks much more attractive when it comes to design.

In my case, I really find the laptop a necessity. I am an instructor and I conduct training programs to different areas. I never go without my laptop considering that I need it for my presentation. All my files are there and it is obviously my lifeline for work.

I don't have a laptop myself but I agree that they are very convenient and easy to carry around with you. I have a desktop instead and I think that I prefer a desktop as opposed to a laptop as laptops tend to be very limited in terms of upgrading them. With desktops you can go inside, add parts, take parts away, it's exciting stuff! I'm definitely a lover to technology and I think that there are going to be some very interesting times ahead! I'm thinking about the possibility of getting a laptop eventually and I will connect it wirelessly via my desktop computer. My desktop is in my bedroom but if I do this then I can surf the Internet whilst sitting in my living room. Now the new windows operating system is out, windows 7! I have to try and have that eventually! Andrew

uhhuh..i am really a laptop minded now. Not because i don't need desktop, but i think laptop is enough for the works i'm in now. I was using desktop when i was still studying at the university. It was really necessary to have a high specifications desktop that time, since i was working with software programming and graphic designs. I'm still doing the graphic designs, but i guess with the earliest specifications of laptop now able to do that. why laptop ? because we can bring it anywhere, everywhere, and anytime we want to. They have wireless net device now and wi-fi connection is everywhere free lol, so of course laptop is more efficient. we can also buy laptop cheaper than desktop with a close specifications, except the VGA card.

I do not think it has become a necessity yet. It is becoming part of the necessary gadgets for rich people. However I do not see it becoming as popular as the cell phone. Not everyone likes to carry a laptop. Perhaps if the prices fall even further, it might become a part of the daily household.

A laptop is a necessity right now it is very good because it is mobile. You can use it anywhere you go. If you are the kind of person who travels a lot, it is good for you because you can store all your documents in it and access it anywhere

Well, laptop has become part of my life. Reading internet news on my laptop is the first thing I do in the morning and closing the laptop is the last thing I do before sleep. Most of the day I am surfing online. I think I can hardly live without my laptop now.

use laptop in daily life - use laptop in daily life.
Yes, it is obvious that laptop has been a part of my daily life. With the development of technology, computers are becoming available to most family. Before a laptop appears, people often work hard with a low efficiency and there are few ways for fun. But now, with the laptop, we can enjoy a better life. You see, we can do jobs with easier ways and after thw work, for the laptop, we have various ways to have a rest. Personally, I may not continue my daily life without a laptop, which is very important as a necessity of my life.

I am a college student and need my computer. It helps when I go to visit the campus I have all my work right there. There are also sites where I can download my textbooks as an e-book and it is easier to bring my laptop to class then those heavy textbooks. I can also type my class notes on them as well, and use all the Microsoft Office programs for different projects.

Although laptops are very useful to everyone who has it, still people who acquired it is a fraction of the entire population. This may be a necessity for those who have it already as they can no longer do with there daily lives without it. I do have one and I used it everyday. It actually a necessity for the job. But with the daily day-to-day living, its not worth it. As a job necessity, every time I bring the laptop at home, it means that I also bring my job home. I don't like it actually. Therefore, I would say that its not part of our daily necessity.

Hmmm, laptops? Well, for me not specifically laptops. I still prefer desktops. :P For the meantime, while still moving, a laptop is enough. First of all, I find laptops easy to wear. Not really easy to be out of what's in, but because we can't upgrade it most of the time. The thing is, I am not really into upgrades. I like smart investments. So I make sure that my tech's last. Usually they cost a few more, but at least I am quite sure there will be no need for me to upgrade after 5 years. As for the need, it is very important to me, I am a freelance writer/researcher/programmer. Nothings beats communication, fun, and payment when they are in one tool. :P

Surly it is. Compared to mobile phone, laptop is almost even with the cellphones. We are 5 in my family, and we also have 4 laptops. Even for the youngest one (11 years). So truly laptops have been more and more important, not only for us, but the whole society is in need of it.

I suspose it depends what you want to use the laptop for nowadays and whether it is for work or home use. Its amazing now how early in education kids become computer skilled and it makes me think if using computers will eventually replace fundamentals such as writing. I used my laptop at home for entertainment to listen to music on Spotify anywhere in the house and attach it to the LCD TV to watch videos in high quality. In most employment now a laptop is a given and usually handed out as part of the job.

Well , the way I see it it's not just laptops becoming a part of our everyday needs. Evolution of technology , that one you pointed to and were right. Our strive for being informed and being as advanced as possible gave birth to the laptop. It's surely not much more special than a desktop , but it enables you to be mobile , thus removing possible time and location restrains. Same thing happened to cellphones - now they're nothing like they were intended to be - you're rather carrying a tech Swiss knife in your pocket. They've got Internet access , they've got media access , they've got powerful processors and formidable storage space. I can't begin to imagine to what areas of technology we'll get to in the next 30-40 years. And to answer your question , yeah they're a part of my necessity. Be it studying , relaxing or just browsing around - I'd need mine to be around.
