Will windows 7 work better than vista?

I bought a new computer when Vista first came out and I had so many problems that I had to switch back to XP. Will microsoft be able to have a new windows that doesn't have as many problem on it in it incetion? Is is better to wait a year before making the switch to windows 7?

yes windows is much better than vista and also than xp because it is mix combination of both of them os. it runs fast as xp and give graphics like vista. so use windows 7 and have fun.

I have Windows 7 for a almost a year now =) and it's good..
No problems so far... all my hardware and software are good =)
Feels like im having XP performance and vista's graphics in one.
