I haven't started shopping for Christmas. I have just finished buying my Christmas decors for the house and for my Christmas tree. I might start buying things for the holiday sometime on the 1st week of December.

I started my shopping awhile ago. I have two people on my shopping list gifts already. I didn't plan that far in advance I just saw things and decided to buy them because I was sure they'd be appreciated and great, wonderful gifts. I like to start my shopping as early as I can. I hate shopping at the last minute. I'm not that kind of person. Sadly, the past few years meant I had to shop late because as a college student I never had any time to really get shopping until I was out of school. Since I've graduated and I'm working and on my own I have the ability to get out there and shop when I get the chance. I have more opportunities to get out there and shop without the people around that I'm shopping for. Also, I'm taking more advantage of the sales online to buy items that I know people would find useful. I like finding whatever way I can to save money.

My husband bought me a wii for an early Christmas present about a month ago or more. I bought him a light saber and old video game early because I was afraid it would go out of stock and it was a good deal on amazon. He already has those. We also bought several wii games from a friend that you can consider a christmas present so to speak. We haven't started buying for other people yet, though I am sure we will soon enough. Right now we are trying to budget and have asked his mom to help us with that, we live with them still, so we really need to learn how to budget so we aren't tempted to blow money we could be saving. We don't have children yet, but we do have a neice and nephew.

I have! I love having all of my shopping done before the craziness of black friday (and every weekend after that) sets in. People get CRAZY! I tend to avoid the malls alltogether a month or so before and after the holidays..Just because they're so cramped - and lines are ALWAYS too long. A good idea, that I've done in the past, is giong "shopping" at an inconspicuous time (when barely anyone else is) - at 10am on a monday. Or some time like that. I probably have about half of my gifts so far! Go us! I love being prepared, because then while everyone else is stressing out over it..We've already got it taken care of.

Just out of interest, has anyone started buying the turkey or the mince pies yet? I have been buying quite a few boxes of chocolates since September. I prefer to spread the cost over a few months rather then spend a great amount all at once and then struggle as I've got less money then the previous month. Does anyone else do this?

I haven't started yet, although I have started knitting some of the presents that I am going to knit. I will probably do the shopping next week.

I have picked up a few little things here and there, but I usually wait until black friday to buy any big ticket items.

I know it seems like we just had Christmas and it is already Christmas again and my mom usually starts her shopping toward the end of November especially since she only shops for me and my wife, and few others, and me and my wife have sort of started our Christmas shopping because I bought her part of her Christmas present which was a Nintendo Wii and she got me part of my present which was a lightsaber attachment for the Star Wars The Force Unleashed game, and Banjo Kazooie for the Nintendo 64,and we are gonna buy each other a game to wrap, and we are also gonna get books for my mom, something for my dad,and probably Wal Mart giftcards for our closest friends.

I usually do my christmas shopping early, as in Christmas shopping in July. I make my list and then I prepare the shopping schedule because some of my gifts are handmade (but all have my personal touch). However, this year, all the gifts I bought were destroyed by Typhoon Ketsana. I have to do my shopping again after I finish cleaning my house. My family, friends and clients will have to settle for store-bought gifts this year.

Even though I want to shop, I don't have the money to do so. It's just sad that people are all around shopping while I want to shop but don't have the money. It's so hard when you're a student and you want to buy things but don't have the power to do so. I could ask my parents but I;m shy.. T_T

I used to be a last minute shopper and it was really stressful for me. Christmas is a tiring season for me, actually, because I shop with everybody else. I decided to change that and I have already started shopping for gifts. I have already bought toys for the kids on my list and some items for the adults too. I think I will be able to save more this way. I can compare prices and look for less expensive, but nicer, gifts. Have a nice day!

I have already started my Christmas shopping. I have already made my list of who to buy for, what to buy and how much to spend. With the economy being so bad it has been hard for me to get it started. I have been looking for work and have had no luck. I am also making homemade gifts for some family members and will not be able to start making these items until it gets closer to the holidays because I will be baking.
