Can You Give Some Tips to Optimize My PTC Earnings?

I have joined some PTC sites and i am earning cents/site a day.
referrals are hard to come by and i still don't have enough funds to
rent referrals or to upgrade my account..
Is their something i need to know/to do?
recently,I noticed that some PTC sites would let you click their Ads twice a day..
even though they have their server time clicks resets once a day...
Do I have to monitor other sites as well?
and What is a downline? or referral builder?

When I started to earn money their was no such type of site. I still do not join these 1 cent type site. Most of them are risky as well as investment prone. I am member of site like donkeymails. I can earn more than 50$ monthly.

I can earn more than 50$ but not in a single site but in a group of site.
