If it wasn't for having family come visit we hardly ever go out to a restaurant. The last time we went out to eat had to be over 3 years ago when we went to Chili's. I much rather cook at home and sit on my couch and watch TV instead sitting in a restaurant waiting for my food and paying a lot of money. Every once in a while we get some take out on the weekends from the Mexican place around the corner. We used to order Pizza a lot but that got to spendy too. What's your pleasure and your favorite place to dine in or take out?

Hi missybear My mom and dad are quiet busy, so I don't wanna make them more busy by cooking food for me, so I prefer go out at restaurant. My mom stay and work at home but she hate dirtiness and noise sound, that's why I rarely cook at home. I have so many places and restaurant to dine in or take out, and the prices are various, from my country (Indonesia) traditional food pancake cafe, pizza, Chinese food, Japanese ramen shabu-shabu, India food, and so on. My favorite change depends on my mood,,hehehe.. but I never try to eat Kobe Beefsteak, I wonder when will I eat it.. My parents like simple life, so they often ask me to go out and eat together in certain restaurant that eat at home where we must wash the dishes, etc. But once in a while, they cook simple food like fried rice or vegetables together

I don't mind, really. It can be anything. Eating out or home-cooking. I appreciate anything that comes with food. And I love to eat, even though I don't get fat..LOL. But I am trying to stick with healthy eating and that includes fruits and veggies a whole lot more than what I've been taking at present. I cannot live without both eating out and home-cooking. I mean, I would be so lost. Eating out all the time, I'll miss home food and eating at home all the time, can just add to my cravings for outside food.

I'd rather eat at home, at least then I know it was prepared right and it wasn't scooped off the floor or spit on. I can also usually make more and save money at the same time. !!Happy Turkey Day!! ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS**

You got a point there. You never know what's going on in restaurant kitchens.

I hate to burst your bubble but unless you have seen the food being grown and cleaned and brought right to your table, you know what has happened to it. Even ther grocery store veggies or butcher meats.

Hello missybear! Every once in a while, my boyfriend and I eat out. There are also instances when Mom, Dad, my sister, and I eat out. Take out is usually considered when there is not much time to cook but I would like to eat at home. But homecooking is still the best among the three. Nothing beats the taste of homecooked food.

I just love eating and cooking at home and being in the comfort of my own home instead of sitting in some restaurant with strange people

Hi there missybear! My parents and I would go out for lunch or dinner on certain occasions. Birthdays, anniversaries, Mother's Day, Father's Day, and so on and so forth. My boyfriend and I often dine out since we get off work late in the evening. During the weekends and long breaks, I do the cooking at home especially during lunch time. Dad cooks during dinner. When I really do not have time to cook or when I am out somewhere, a fast food restaurant is my bestfriend.

My honey cooks during the week and I cook on the weekend. I enjoy cooking more than eating out. I do like ordering a good Pizza

I still prefer home cooked food.:D My mother and sister can cook very well. Why do I need to go out if I can already satisfy my cravings with the my mother's and sister's cookings.:D

As a family we don't go out to eat very much, but I sometimes treat my daughter (and myself I suppose!) and take her out to eat with her friends. I'm not a great cook, but I try to make something new every so often, and that's really enjoyable. And once in a while we get takeaway from our local Indian or Chinese restaurants. I think that this is my favourite option of the three. Being able to stay at home and relax, while eating some nice takeaway food.

I love to cook at home and order in and go out. sometimes i don't have the time or energy to cook so ordering in or going out is the best option for my family and I. we order in once a week and go out once a month. Other than that I cook every day.

Eating out is much easier for me. It can be expensive but I don;t have to clean up or do any dishes. Sometimes I get things out and bring it home. That way I get the best of both worlds I guess. If you do it that way, you don't have to leave a tip.

I love to eat out and try other dishes and places at least once in a week. But nothing beats a home cooked meal. I love the cooking part and how it makes the whole house smell of nice warm meal and makes everyone feel like they can't wait to dig in.

I would much prefer homecooking over anything else, but I don't mind eating out or ordering take out every once in a while so that we don't have to cook. It's nice for a change. I don't really have a favorite place to dine or take out since I don't do it that often, but from the times that I have been out, I like Denny's and IHOP pretty well. I eat at Chinese restaurants too so I like a few of those.

It's nice every once in a while especially when someone else is taking you. I like Denney's to and there's one down the street from us. We went there when I had company back in September.

Besides ordering a pizza twice a year or once every 5 years he will get someone to go to get dinner from a fast food(we don't have a car) we really don't eat out much at all..rarely in fact unless my mom treats me to McDonalds or another place once in awhile. But I am always saying I can make it cheaper and probably better and I will know all that is in it and don't have to worry if the person who made it cleaned their hands..or made sure not to sneeze into the food.. or cough..or something worse.

Yuck, I never really think about people spitting into food but it happens you just don't know it. I'm better of at home eating what I know is safe and yummy.

I love home cooking. My mother is a great cook that's why i love eating at home. As of eating out , we do it one in a week or every two weeks. We go out together and have fun. As of take out, it seldom happens. it only happens when we run of ingredients at home and if we are very hungry. when i got married, my husband cooks very good dishes. So Home cooking for me is the best!

As for me, I love eating out. I love the thrill of discovering new restaurants and trying new dishes. Lots of restaurants offer the same dishes. But what I love is their own version of the same dishes. The tastes are different. Another reason is that I like eating at restaurants because some of the dishes they are offering, I don't usually eat at home.

I like having homecooked meals, first of all, it's cheaper, and second of all, I can control how much oil, spices and what nots I can put in my food.. Though, it is not rare that we have some take out, specially if my siblings and I are craving for fast food.. hahaha. or if we are too lazy to cook ourselves a meal. I rarely eat out.. I would rather have it as a take out and eat it back in the apartment, it's more comfortable for me..
