Sometimes, as a student, I am underestimated for my ability to respond to questions. I'd rather write down my answer than saying it in front of the class. I don't like how teachers underestimate us students and give us a bad grade for class participation.
Although, I do understand how it is very discouraging, as a teacher, to not see your students speak up and advocate themselves. Each and every child should share their ideas to become more fluent with the world and the fact that it doesn't stop for someone to catch up.
What are your thoughts?

Don't look down upon yourself. Many teachers would have this wrong, they always use such a hierarchy of student performance. To the teacher for you a new light, then you must play your best performance to your teacher to see!
I believe that you can to ! Continue its efforts to!
