which is the best processor for desktop pc core 2duo or dual core? any advance processor arrived in market?

whats best for me may be worst for you. it all depends on for the purpose youre going to use the processor for. if you are low on budget and you are a basic pc user then you should opt for dual core processors. and if you have a high budget and your work revolves around video editing and such including gaming, then prefer core 2 duos If you are planning to create a new pc, i would suggest going in for an AMD processor for gaming

very simple core to duo is better than dual core but dual core is sufficient for any desktop if you only use for normal work. if use your desktop for higher gaming use core to duo. have a nice day man.

I may be wrong but I'm thinking they're both the same. I like dual core as opposed to a single processor. I would love to have quad core but that is far too expensive and more power than I actually need! In order to stay ahead with technology I suggest you subscribe to the following websites, they are all free. www.tomshardware.com www.cnet.com there are others but I cannot remember them at this time. I love everything technology and I love reading about latest processors coming out onto the market. Andrew
