i have that issue sometimes but then i focus on my breathing and start counting and then i am asleep. if that doesnt work you could try getting up and doing something.

Hi zipdez, hopefully the problem got solved but if it happens again, what works for me is putting the clock radio on snooze choosing a station with soft music and listening to it a while it drowns out the song and I fall asleep.

Having LSS or Last Song Syndrome on a song that I really like is not a problem for me. Like for a week, even from time to time, I still have Lady Gaga's song "Paparazzi" (but Lynzie Kent's acoustic cover version I got from YouTube) playing over and over in my head. But if, like in your case, it's becoming a nuisance, since you can't sleep, try to divert your attention to something else. You can watch TV or read a book or focus on something interesting, like what you'll do tomorrow or what happened today, etc. Better yet, just try to relax and clear your mind. It'll pass.
