Do you ever wonder what happens to your food when you are going out to eat.

Do you ever wonder that the person that is preparing your food, is doing something wrong with it. Like sneezing into it or spitting in your food before you receive your food. I'm over here watching maury and he is doing one of his shows were they show videos of certain things. And well, one of the employees that was working at a restaurant stuck some lettuce up his nose and then another employee, wiped his arm pits with the lettuce and then blew his nose into the lettuce. I'm like ew, I don't think I ever want to eat out again, at a fast food restaurant or a restaurant period. I'm like thinking that I think that I will just prepare my own food here at home, at least I know where my food has been, and that nobody has sneezed into it, or rubbed, their body parts with my food. My husband all the time, when we go to the fast food restaurant, he tries to be as nice as possible to the employees, so that they don't put boogers or sneeze or spit in our food. I always tell my husband that it shouldn't matter whether or not that you are being nice to them, they should be doing their job and not putting things in your food that does not belong there. But I guess that I can understand where he is coming from with that. And sometimes I think that it doesn't matter whether or not if you are nice to them, because if that person is having a bad day, they will do it either way. What are your thoughts on this.

i also think sometimes like that when i go to places to eat.. one day i went out with my friends to eat to a place and one of my friends started an argument with a waiter before ordering the food.. i told him not to do such things and reminded him we all will have to eat that waiter's booger.. lol...

I was a waitress through college, and let me tell you. I doesn't matter if your nice or not to your server, most of the time they are just lazy. If something drops on your food or falls in your drink odds are that they really don't care. Say you order a bunch of wings and the waitress stops to type in and order and sets them down. While setting them down a few fall onto the station where they throw dish rags, set dirty dishes garbage ect. Well chances are she will pick them back up with her fingers throw them on the plate and deliver them to you without another thought of it while running of to do something else. Oh and you were watching Muary haha a lot of those things were probably staged. I dont think its as much spitting and boogers unless you send something back and they are really pissed about it as much as they arent concerned about what happens to your food after it leaves the kitchen. Ive seen waitresses accidently grab dirty cups and fill a new customers drink in it. YUCK I know. Or they just brush off tables instead of wiping them down with sanitizer. Bottom line... its likely to happen regardless so if you dont want your food to be messed with, dont mess with the people serving it to you.

Yep I agree. Or if you don't like the service request another waiter or go somewhere else. But I guess kindness goes a long way sometimes, but other times people can just be cruel and don't care.

That's like the old adage of never going into the kitchen of a Chinese restaurant. If people were allowed to do this, go into kitchens as they please, we might get a lot of people being turned off food in restaurants. Its very possible they do things like that especially if they don't like the customer. Most of us will never know either.

Hi trisha It is highly disgusting to come to know about the things the employees will do at the fast food restaurents. it is making me to think that we can better starve rather than eating such foods. i feel it is better to have bread, butter and jam or bananas and milk to suppress our hunger till we reach our home and prepare our own food. But I have not seen or heard in India such things, but who knows, may be happening without our knowledge. A good thought provoking topic. have a nice day

It's scary isn't it. I think that it is good to be nice to the people serving your food, because after all they are serving your food. On the other hand I feel that you are correct when you say if a person is having a bad day, they may do something to your food anyway. Not only that, but the waiter or waitress may be nice, but who knows about the cooks. I saw a movie called waiting where this issue came up. I can not post all that they did to the food in this case, because myLot won't allow vulgar language, but it was pretty sick. The woman who they did this to was being extremely rude. When an on the job trainee saw what they did he was appalled. The person training him, told him, this is a lesson, "Never f**ck with people who serve your food.

Augh the age old thought: where has this been? No idea, I don't worry about it because I've never been sick from eating out. It is gross what could potentially could happen to your food and it is cheaper and healthier to prepare your own food. So if that's what you're willing to do, go for it. Personally, I don't have a lot of time to cook so I do eat out a lot. I think once I'm done with college and settled, I'll enjoy myself in the kitchen more. My boyfriend loves to cook, so I let him make me dinner.

The best way you getting a healthy food is to prepare your it by yourself.I seldom eat out. When I was in my high school,I have worked in a hotel and seen everything they did in preparing for their customers.

Now a days somany people like to eat Fast food. They dont think that food was really good or bad. Very few days back i went to a restuarant, i saw a worst thing in that restuarant. server taking an ice cream, suddenly it was felldown on the floor, without second thought server picked the ice cream and put it in the bowl and served that ice cream. Really this is a worst thing. i cancelled my order and returned to my home. I prepared food in home. Due to office hours bachelors are eating outside. There is no way to cook in home. So most of the employees and students they were residing outside their home they totally depends the restuarant or hotel food. Evening times Fastfood center's and restuarants are full of busy

I hate eating out like this local hotel... but my time dont allow me to take food in high class hotels.... mostly all hotels are like doing these type of nasty things only... only if they understand the seriousness of doing like these type of nasty habits no one will get good food....
