I knew I have done it several times in my entire career as a student. And seen the consequences of these actions as I've seen many of my classmates expelled or flank the subject. I was the few ones who was never get caught doing it. I know its bad, but when you did nothing on your lessons and never did a study even you knew theres an exam the next day, you would tempted to cheat in exams. Have you done it too?

I was always afraid to cheat in exams. I never did any cheating in exams even if I would fail. If you do cheating in exams means you are cheating with you life. Withouth cheating we can know where do we stand and do much better in next exam

I was very proud of being the only one in class who did not cheat in exams. I think it's below me. In fact, I was never desperate enough to want to cheat. Which means that I was pretty well prepared for most exams. Cheating is not worth the guilt and the stress - the question "what if I'm found out?" can eat at you.

hey the medicine to the "what if i am found " thing is not to think of it much . i have many friend like u who are afraid to cheat and dont like it . but i just think that it is no big deal . perhaps the reason may be that i am never caught hehehe and one more thing i liked ur name very much .serendipity (meaning a fortunate accident ) i saw a movie with this name once it was really good and so i liked this name very much

(grin) I'm guilty when it comes to cheating. I cheated several times in quizzes and in examinations. I often asked my seatmate if he/she study our lessons and if not i transfer to another chair and seat beside the one who is prepare. Actually 80% of the class cheated either they copy the answer of their seat mate or open a notes. I never caught cheating but once when i was assigned to seat beside my male classmates and they cheated and caught, as a seatmate, i was also accused. I argue with my professor and stand that I'm innocent and asked her to settle the issue in attorneys office. Professors in our University are afraid to be sewed by their students. And Oh, i don't just cheat but I also share my answers but when my classmate caught holding my test paper and denied it that she's cheating my test paper was confiscated and mark "0"!(I seated first row front and my paper found in last row)

Better to use your 20-20 vision than ask question on your seat mate. But thats if he/she wants you to copy his answers. lol

Absolutely, i cheat if the condition requires it, a man got to do what a man got to do, failure is not an option, if cheating is the only way to pass then I'll cheat away.

I cheated plenty of times when I was in school and was never caught, probabily because my methods were 'original'. And I don't think is bad, even now as an adult, I think school is useful for some things but useless for others, there's plenty of things you have to learn perfectly but you'll never use in life, I'm defintiely positive to cheating, it's formative too.

quite honestly no...I feel at the end I would be cheating myself of knowledge. I although Im not judgemental I know that pressures of mid terms, college life, trying to make it, but cheating is not the way.

Unfortunately and with much shame, I must admit that I have. It was my sophomore year in high school and our biology teacher (a newbie) gave out the exact same tests to the various sections of that level. Naturally, there was leakage. It worked for a while (the entire class, save a few, participated in this cheating) and then the teacher got suspicious. We didn't officially get busted, but lots of people knew.

No, I have never cheated on an exam. I studied as hard as I could and sometimes did not do very well on an exam but I did not think it was worth being expelled or failing a class just by cheating on any exam.

Yeah I did - in a unique way. I learned speed writing (Gregg shorthand) during one of our vacations. And it was what I used for cheating by actually writing all the answers on the floor and on the pad of my chair. I didn't worry about getting caught since even if they saw my writings, they wouldn't understand anything at all. Cool huh!? Students, now you have a tip! lol..

speed writing? every student must learn that technique. But hopefully not used it for cheating though. Some teachers do tend to speak faster and we had to cope up taking-up notes on the lectures.

look i think there are two ways to live a life ......one is a shortcut and the other one is ... a smaller shortcut.:) so i love copying in exams . it kinda makes me feel supernatural hehehe its like nobody can catch me while copying this gives me confidence and sometimes i dont even have to copy coz i am not afraid of giving exams .. the fact is in ur sylabbus there are many things that we cant express in paper . i know many people who are good at things but when it comes to write it down they suck and how can exam predict how smart u r . the final thing depends on ur knowledge. so getting passed with copying with knowing all the knowledge is far much better than not copyin still passing but not knowing anything. what say guys?

Yes I have cheated and felt bad after wards. I never confessed due to the results so I kept quite and made sure I made up for that cheating exam by not doing it again. Now my study days are over and I have promised myself I would never cheat again due to that feeling. THanks great discussion.

Not always, but yes when I would be in that mood, I'd copy like hell. It was fun though, but most of the times, i don't prefer doing that

Yes I did. I even cheated by opening the book during the exams. Me and my classmates also followed our professor where she have her printed exams photocopied. We bribe the clerk who photocopy so she would give us the copy of the exam so that during the exams we have already a ready answered test paper. I don't recomment cheating I just think of it as a phase in life we go through.

I have never cheated. even if I haven't studied for an exam I will cram the night before or right before it. I don't see the point in cheating. It's not much use if you don't know the content of what you're studying. Because you can't then progress to the next level. It is tempting though and when you're desperate, it seems like the logical thing to do although it's very immoral. Plus, if you cheat off someone, how do you know that their answers are correct? Sometimes you would probably have more luck just guessing your answers than cheating off someone who has no idea what they're talking about either!

Yup, I've also cheated, but in cases where I really need it and didn't studied my lessons because of a lot of things. When I was in high school I kept a small paper with me and almost of all the important things are written in their and they were very small. LOL. Another is that I received group messages on my phone where there are already answers, and each section or classes share the kind of exams from a teacher that are same with us. But I don't abuse it because I believe in what they call "karma", only in cases that I needed it. And sometimes it comes on my mind that cheating is not that all bad and it's kind a form of art or a technique where only few can do it perfectly but still it's a bad thing. LOL

I never cheated on exams on my entire life because I believe that if you cheated its also your lost as a student you should work hard on your own not on depending to others, because it can also describe your personality. Just strive hard and try ypur best its worth it.
