I think you have a point there. I haven't really seen anyone wearing those jeans in a while. It was really popular a while back and I remember asking some girls about it. They told me that they wore them because they wanted to show off their belly rings or something along the line. I know that's not the case with everyone that wore them but I thought it made sense that some girls wanted to expose their midriff. It doesn't work for everyone though. But I have been traumatized by some of those girls bending over and exposing things that should not be exposed in public. It really leaves a bad impression on people and I couldn't help but feel embarrassed for them.

Hi dear! I have seen many of the youngesters wearing low waist jeans and in the process getting exposed themselves. I do think it looks smart to wear such jeans and I also failed to understand logic behind it. I do not wear such jeans.
