There are many keyboard shortcuts which generally managed by using mouse. Specially while typing these things comes up more. While typing, what you prefer more, using keyboard shortcuts or using mouse? It is better to learn keyboard shortcuts also. You may not practice them always, but you should know them. While working with pc, at midnight if you suddenly find that the mouse is not behaving and there is no scope of getting a fresh mouse till morning, what will you do? You will keep your works pending? I faced this situation and thats why telling to all my mylot friends to learn keyboard shorcuts. But dont ask me if the keyboard stops functioning! ha ha ha.. Have a great day friends.

Yup, I've experienced one that time that my mouse didn't work, I'm practicing to do some shortcuts and basic keyboarding functions. And it's really cool when your using the keyboard, it's faster when your multitasking and doing some work rather than using the mouse, well that's my opinion. Happy mylotting!

Hi borhan, me, i am used to using a mouse. Besides i am not that intelligent when it comes to computer operations. I do know some shortcuts using the keyboard but i really feel comfortable with the mouse. If ever there will be a problem with my mouse i can use the touch pad.

If my mouse fails to work, then I may be forced to use the shortcut keys only to shut down my system. I am not using shortcut keys except few basics like, copy, paste, cut, delete etc.,.Though using the shortcut keys are fastest method to work with the computers, I am not able to follow them..I feel mouse is much better and convenient method of working.Of course, I don't know much keys to use and I am not much familiar with the terms of computer.I happened to shut down my system twice as mouse failed to work within the past one year. That too, I did not know the procedure to shut down with the keys.My cousin taught me to shut down the system..After that I started to learn few shortcut keys.

Hello borhan. Well definitely mouse is easier to use than the keyboard. If i had to choose from one of them, then i will use mouse. But learning the shortcuts really are helpful especially when your mouse is having problems.I usually love to learn all about the alt stuff which can create "Ü" this cute letters. Have a great day to you too!

I'm okay with both, the keyboard is more easy for me though, I won't have to come a lil down and slide the touch pad, keyboard is better. Some of the shortcuts I use : Ctrl+c...copy. Ctrl+a.. select all Ctrl+b Bold Ctrl+i Italics Ctrl+u Underline Ctrl+v Paste Ctrl+x Cut Windows+D Minimize all Windows+m Minimize one and more!

I have been using and teaching computer training since before the mouse was around so we had little choice but to learn short cuts if we wanted to be fast and efficient. Even though I rely on the mouse today I still use shortcuts to speed things up.

I used keyboard shortcut in most work in the computer. I used keyboard to shutdown, copy and paste, selecting, inserting tables, saving files, anything in microsoft word and some games. I used mouse for scrolling pages and the rest is by keyboard shortcuts. It saves time and you can work faster. I learned to used keyboard shortcuts when the mouse of the computer i am using was not functioning anymore.

I'm naturally a very fast typer, so I typically just use the keyboard to navigate on my computer. I think that it's much faster and easier, since you have to type on the keyboard anyway. It's nice to know them, as you'll want to know your computer inside and out, as you never know when you'll need that kind of information...lol. I hope everything worked out ok!

I don't really use my keyboard shortcuts when I am typing stuff on the computer. I would just use my mouse when I am doing stuff online. I guess I am just use to using the mouse when I am doing stuff on the computer.

Yes, I know what you mean, sometimes your mouse will malfunction at the middle of what you're doing in your computer and there is no other option but to use your keyboard alone so learning keyboard shortcut is really a must. In my case, I can still use the computer even without the mouse but I still prefer using the mouse on everything I do on the computer, I find it delaying when using mouse then mixed it with some keyboard shortcuts.

Yes, using only keyboard makes the total activities faster. Using mouse takes a bit longer time. But mouse is a tool to get your many jobs easy.

We should use both, in order to be more eficient while working. Mostly, I use mouse. After copying something, usually I use ctrl+v, to paste it. So, the combination the two tools will make us more eficient in our work.

Well, its keyboard most of the times. I use them regularly. But there are so many things in a page which does not allow keyboard. I mean mostly flash games or some sites. Otherwise keyboard shortcuts are much faster than mouse.
