Is it compelsory to give tags for the discussions.

its not obligatory .... i skip it most of the time .actually always i guess.i just think it slows me down while posting .

Hi neelimagaru, Its not necessary to give the tags, we can skip them but if we are giveing the tags which should give a suitable tags. Tags are the keywords we are giving to the discussion or response so that we can seach in the search bar when required. But i always put tags. Have a great day

I do not think it is compulsory to give tags. But it helps to categorise the discussions. But I feel there must be some good reason for the tags being introduced. Why to skip it? After all how long it will take to write couple of words? I always write tags.

No, of course it's not compulsory, unfortunately if you don't put any tags it's going to make it more difficult to earn because people wont be able to find your discussion through search.

Well, I think tags are up to your choice, but I'm sure it'll benefit the database of this site as it can use up little space and also access the same type of tags much quicker than trying to find a discussion with the same kind of content. I'll leave it to your choice but it doesn't hurt to just put a simple tag in. Cheers.

Hi neelimaravi, I'm also not clear with this tag concept. But as you said , i also give the tags for each discussion i create and each photo i upload. I guess this tagging will be usefull for displaying the photo and the discussion to get sorted closer to the topic

Hi Neelima, Its not compulsory to give tags to the discussion. Tags means the keywords, that is the what the discussion or the response saying about. I am certain that it is not compulsory to tag discussions and I admit that I don’t always do it. MyLot encourages us to add tags because it makes it easier to find discussions we may be searching for. Tagging is not compulsory but it may help you to earn more. In the right you can see all the discussions which has similar tags. So may be while answering others the user may also answer your discussions. Using tags is useful to receive more responses on your own discussions ultimately leading to more earning. I think no, it's not required at all.. Sometimes I'm skipping it for some reasons I can't think of a nice tag to put.. ^_^ But I think there's no difference on your earnings if you don't put a tag on your comments..

no my friend giving tags are optional.tags shows all discussions of comman interest.thet add as index to dicussions.tags help you to publish your discussion on large basis.so giving tag is helpful to you and others.happy mylotting.
