Anyone with PLDT Call All or Prepaid Wireless Landline here?

Can anyone here give me first hand experience with these PLDT services? I would like to know which is the better service before I subscribe to any one of these. I actually tried to buy a PLDT Prepaid Landline SIM the other day at SM Makati and I was told that they have temporarily stopped selling the SIM because they have been receiving a lot of complaints about reloading the SIM. They said they will wait till PLDT resolves this problem before they resume selling the PLDT SIM.

If you are going to buy the Prepaid Wireless Landline of PLDT, I suggest that you make sure that you have a strong SMART Network Signal in your place because this service of PLDT is dependent on the SMART Network. Trust me because I'm an employee of one of PLDT's group of companies.

We have very good SMART signal in our area. I was so close to getting this SIM but they are no longer selling the SIM at SM because of reloading problems. Now I am beginning to consider the 2nd landline offer of PLDT. I wonder if it is any good?

If there is a strong SMART signal there, I don't think you will encounter problems. It is good and pretty much works like your standard PLDT landline. I hope you buy one.

If you have an option to get a wired phone service, then I suggest that you do so. My experience with pldt wireless is horrible and the bill kept coming even if we were not able to use it. Plus, the unit that they gave us was already defective after a year and pldt told us that we have to have it repaired, there is no warranty that covered the unit.

I am very sorry to hear that. Do you have a strong SMART signal in your area? Usually that is the problem because if the signal there is very low, like one to two bars, the wireless unit will be unable to get a signal as well. I agree with you though that it is still best to get a wired phone service.
