Ryan Babels goal against Lyon was magnificent, and his emotion showed just how much it ment to him, lets hope that he has more of the good stuff in him.. and not any of what happend next time he got the ball.

iam sory late to respond this post.wanna say, that`s wonderful goal.i never surprised that Babbel can score a goal like that.because he is talented player.maybe Rafa will found the greatest talent from Babbel. So Rafa, you must give a many chance and opportunity for Babbel in starting eleven

I think that a lot of people are aware of his talent but he has not been consistant enough when he has had the opportunities. He my just need to get his confidence. Some critics say that he does not have the desire a Liverpool player should have, but you could see the emotion he showed when the ball went in, that it ment a great deal to him.

Babel scored an absolute belter, but it doesn't really make up for months of mediocrity... He's not going to get a starting place with Aquilani, Benayoun, Gerrard, Mascherano and Riera playing - nor does he deserve one!

I think you have a point, and every player will need to shine in the coming games just so Liverpool can move on from the poor run that they have had.

Yes, the goal was a wonderful strike, but still not good enough to win Liverpool the match. I think it is a clear indication of how much Liverpool have to do more with this depleted side if they really have to challenge for any of the trophies this year. Cheers! Ram

He's a fellow Dutchie which makes me proud. He's absolutely a great striker and saw his potential from the first moment on at Ajax. Truly magnificent, I hope he'll improve even further.
