Hi, Crystal, anxiety is a much source of stress, tension enhancer and would eventually cause the deterioration of our health, if not controlled. It would ruin your outlooks in life, controls you from making good and sound decisions in life and it further makes you miserable i8n life. But, to be able to move on forward to a much happier and fulfilled life, one must be able to handle anxiety as not to hinder their ambitions. One must always think positive in every endeavor that he/she must be taking of, always think anxiety as just a spice of one's life to make it through difficult times, and it must be taken heartli8ghtedly for us to be able to overcome it. Most of all, let us not forget that it is just part and parcel of our lives. Gob bless!

hi crystal again hatley here oh anxiety causes stress and stress messes up our whole body. our heart , our kidneys, our blood sugar. so learning to relax and destress ourselves will help to make us much more healthy. stress in cave man days was needed to make man run from wild animals.but today all that stress does is raise our blood pressure, and our blood sugar, neither is really all that good for us. I am a diabetic and I try to relax as much as possible.I listen to classical music to unwind and destress, and rub on my lavendar and vanilla body lotion on my arms and legs. lavendar is really very soothing to your system.

Anxiety isn't only an emotional thing, but yes, has a great effect on our bodies. It raises our heartbeat and our blood pressure. It releases a stress hormone called cortisol, which over time can lead to such things as heart disease. It tires us, it makes us tense, and we are apt to experience rapid breathing, muscle aches...so many things. Getting anxiety under control, even if it takes professional help, is worth the effort.

Anxiety can cause sleepless nights, you get paranoid and end up in a mental hospital.

anxiety is normal today but having excessive of it will fall to GAD (generalized anxiety disorder)over exaggerated and over worried to everyday life events with no obvious reasons to worry, this kind of illness will lead to muscle tension, headache, excessive sweating, nausea, frequent urination, trouble in falling sleep and being easily startled

High blood pressure, raised heart rate, sleeplessness, lowered immunity ... basically, it totally boogers up every physiological system in your body. I suffer attacks from time to time, and I've managed to work out a few self-help techniques such as deep breathing, visualisation (making my mind focus on a single image totally non-connected to the things making me anxious) It largely depends on what it is that's causing your anxiety in the first place - with me it was totally founded, as I'd been a bit too optimistic about the workload I was able to cope with. Mass panic time - yet oddly, I worked better then than I am now, when I'm not so stressed! So those nasty symptoms have a reason for them, I guess.

anxiety depending on how sevier it is can cause you too get very sick... if your always stressing about things, you can suffer from headaches and be tired all the time. it can affect your life more than your body, but again it depends on why you have anxiety. for example i babysit for a boy who doesnt like to eat infront of people and he is in elemntry school, so without getting the nuriton during the day he needs he is tired, underweight, under nurished, unable to consentrate in class. he also for some reason we are still trying to figure out wont use the bathroom at school. this is affecting his kidneys that can lead to an infection. so depending on the type of anxiety will depend on how it affects your body.
