Hi Mylotters, have you watched movies for 12 hrs back to back movies anyday till now with just breaks for human needs. I had my friend who started watching movie at 11 pm in the night and then he said that he will sleep after watching this one. I got up in the morning and started getting ready for the office, even then he was watching the movie. I asked him what is he doing he said nothing just watching movie, I was amazed. Later i came back in the evening and even then I saw him watching movies. I was shocked on the time he was watching movies. I asked him what was he doing he did not say anything as he knew what he was doing. I dragged him out of the house so that he doesnt watch any more movies. has anyone done something like this.

I have done something like this. On the holidays, some channels will run marathons of certain shows. Law & Order is one that seems to pop up several times a year. I could watch that forever. Actually sometimes it seems that I have. I think to movies are my max for watching. I did that at a theater once, watched two movies back to back. That was almost too long. I have trouble watching movies though, because I am usually on the computer when I watch.

hi, I think its human nature!! If we like to do something or love it though it is difficult one we can do it. Watching movies for such a long hours not only strains your eyes and body but also damages your daily cycle ie.,eat, sleep. Though we know that it is not right for our body the mad love towards watching movies have done it. It is not only in the case of movies if you are obsessed to finish your work and you never feel bored in doing it you can wake up the whole night and still can continue it in the morning. It happened to me many number of times as most of my friends use to watch movie the whole night and come to college in the morning with out any break. I can say that if we do similar things at home under your parents supervision they may also drag you and stop doing such things.

Watching TV, yes I can do more that 12 hours. But that would require me to change channels every now and then. As for movies for 12 straight hours, I do not think I can do that. The most I was able to watch was about 3 movies. I started late at night, originally planning to watch just one movie. When that first movie was finished, I said to myself, I will just watch about 30 minutes of this second one, and so on. Hey, I miss doing that. I hope I have more time to spend being a couch potato. Have a nice day!

I have watched movies for about 12 hours straight. I watched the whole Lord of The Rings (Extended Edition) back to back. I used up a lot of energy that day and for the first time in my life my eyes hurt. I started watching the movies at around 1 pm and finished the series somewhere around 2am of the next day. I even had lunch and dinner while watching the movies. I only left the screen to go to the toilet. That was one rough day.
