when i was in college i had dreams of trying out a lot of professions bec i would be exciting. i have done that now, having 3 different jobs in one year and feeling not very satisfied. i always think that there's a good side about work but they are weihed down by the bad side of having a job. anyway,...i like my job now in research, ..i was really stunned by the big amount of responsibility on my shoulders, but i like it in terms of salary and the satisfaction i get. it's not my dream job, but i like how great i feel being hired for it. anyway. what is the best job in the world for you?

well, where I am right now does have good financial rewards but the point is, I work for someone. My ideal job or the best job for me would be to work independently. I do hope I'll be able to achieve this soon. I guess only time will tell.

Joanna, I think you're got a good head on your shoulders. You're right, building a business isn't for everybody. My older brother has his own business but it's been a disaster because I don't think he's responsible enough to handle a business. My opinion would be, he's better off working for someone else. Thanks for your input.

The best job in the world is doing what you love and looking forward to doing it every day instead of dreading it. I have been blessed with the time and space to pursue my passion which is writing for the past few years and I love it so much; it is the best job in the world for me. The money is not great but I believe in a saying I read once that said, “Do what you love and the money will follow”. My advice to anyone looking for the best job ever is find your passion and do it; if you can’t do it fulltime do it part time but give it a go; you may be surprised.

Thanks kukaisiton! I hope I start making real money one day. I have been paid for some articles but a lot have been published for no pay which is the way it goes while you are trying to establish a name out there; it's not easy but I love it!

I think there would be as many answers to this question as there are people. Thankfully, we don't all want the same job! A wise person said: "Find the job you love doing and you'll never have to work again" I go along with that. I have been working very long hours in voluntary work in children's ministry and I love every minute of it. I haven't worked in paid employment for almost 50 years, but of all the jobs ever available, my opinion of the BEST JOB is that of being a wife and mother. Being a mother is the biggest privilege and the biggest responsibility and the biggest challenge - and the most rewarding - job anyone could ever have. I am so thankful for the privilege of being a mother to five wonderful sons (now adult, happily married, in good secure jobs)

hi there, it's the first time i heard that having a good job is being a civil servant. so thanks for sharing your view on that. here in my country, being a civil servant means you wont have a lot of money, but as like the title "servant" you really sould have it in your heart to serve other people. well i hope you do well in your career. i hope you pass the exams. i know its kinda difficult after college, but everything would turn out right. look at all the comments here, they have great advice :)

I love computer programming and work as a computer programmer. This is the best job in the world for me. If you enjoy what you are doing, if you never get tired of doing that job, if you are happy to do the that job even 7 days a week then know for sure that you're doing the best job in the world for you!

I think lying on the ground or staying in my bed! Unfortunately it is not always possible, so I think the best job is being a professor at the university, you work 4 or 5 hours per week...
• Philippines

lying on the ground.. lol! it's lovely to be staying in bed all the time, but sometimes if you want a change of scenery, you can maybe do part time, or work at home. about the professor thing, sure you wrok a few hours, but preparing lessons and dealing with students could be kind of a big responsibilty.. what do you do for a living claudio? thanks for the response though :)

I worked in the real world for more than 30 years and then I started working from home and life has gotten so much less stressful and my time is my own. So I have to say that working from home as my own boss is the best job in the world.

hi webmann, ive also been trying to work from home too,.. that's great for you, im envious.. you really have to manage your own time. thanks for the response

I think the best job is a job where it doesn't feel like you are working.the best job is a job where you are happy and fulfilled.you are challenged to learn everyday in that job.you absolutely love that job and will do it even without pay.I read somewhere that "love your job,and your job will love you back".it's true.people who love their jobs are those who doesn't feel that they're working but they're earning a lot of money.

Best job in the world !!! It is an amazing question as everyone tries to find out what is the best job in the world. However I am afraid there is nothing called best job as something which works out fine with you might not augur well for my future. Also looking into another perspective if I say teaching is the best profession probably I have not looked into the same in a balanced way and being objective in thinking. So there might be dream jobs but I can not categorically say there is something called best job in world as grass is always green on the other side.

The best job for me is posting on myLot. Just kidding. I like allocating capital. I do this as a hobby, but one day maybe I'll manage people's money. I invest in stocks, bonds, currencies, gold, whatever I feel will give me a decent rate of return. I don't feel pressure when I do it with my money, but I would have added pressure investing other peoples money. The base commission I would take is 20% of profits for the year. If there are no profits, then I don't take any money. I think that is more than fair.

Hello Kukaisiton, as for me i don't think there is any best job in the world because the plan of God for an individual is different. Some people here in my country said Doctor is the best job while some said different job but i don't believe them and the reason is that there are many doctor that do not have more than a building and a car where are many some business man have more than 5 building and 5 car.

i don't know, maybe a job that let you all the free time you need, maybe a big society where you can let all the direction things to other people who can make it, and you can go around the world, but there are only a few people who can do this, for us, normal people, a good job can be surveyor or engeneer, something that let you earn a loto of money, and you can build your own study.

The best job in the world is when you enjoy what you are doing. One of my dream jobs though is something that has to do with travelling. A fashion buyer who travels to different places to see fashion show sounds quite interesting to me.

Hello kukaiston. There are so many jobs of different kinds. It is hard to say that a certain one is the best. In my opinion, so long as one likes and feels happy with the job he is doing, it can be considered to be the best one for him. I mean that it is relative when we say it is the best job. Thank you for the discussion, friend.

the best job in the world - everyone want to find the best job in the world.
In my opinion, to be a government official is really a good choice. You see, if you become a government official in my country, then you have the supreme power to do what you want. Yeah, some officials abuse the power and "earn" money as much as they want. No matter what you are, you have to follow the ideas of the officials, or you will have to meet some troubles as their revenge. Among all kinds of careers, the government officials is really the best "job". That is just a joke because our country is full of corruption. In my opinion, the best job in the world is freelance writer, which is my dream. I want to enjoy a free and relaxed life through starting my career as a freelance writer.

I think the job is very enjoyable as an artist, whatever that kind. Because the artist is a jog that can be done in a state of love or grief. We can see examples of the musicians who created songs from situation sad, angry, happy, upset, etc., from all that will be able to produce a creative result of the high value.
