I can't sleep in the bus. It's too uncomfortable and noisy and I am always afraid that I will miss my stop because I am napping.

not a habit but I had an experience one time to sleep in a bus on my way home after work. I am on a night shift so usually, it is so tiring when you go home in the morning. I was really shocked that I was the only one left in the bus that time. One of my funny moments I guess. But I can't help it. I am so tired.

my hubby used to work in a neighbouring city and used to take a bus there every day. he often fell asleep and more than once, the bus driver had to wake him up! fortunately, his stop was the buses last stop or he would have slept through it!

I would not dare to sleep on a bus, or in any public place! People could rob you easily and you wouldn't even know. A friend of mine fell asleep on his laptop at a library once, and some thief took the computer right out from under him and made off with it. It was a 600 dollar laptop and he never saw it again, plus he lost everything on the hard drive and everything he was working on. I think if I were to fall asleep on a bus or any other public place someoen would take my purse or maybe my ipod if I had it. Not only that, but if you fell asleep on a bus, woudn't you miss your stop? Then you would have to walk home. You could end up really far from your destination. I think its pretty much a bad idea to ever sleep on a bus.

why not...? Most of the people are having this habit. I'm too... Travelling long distances usually makes us tired and it will make us sleep automatically, but the only thing is it should not be a disturbance to the people who are sitting near us. But some times I have been traveled without sleeping...

Hi! I used to have that habbit only in winters, when i was in school, cos i had a 15-20 minute bus ride to my school and the radiators/heaters on the bus under the seats were turned on and it was really warm and i always kinda fell asleep and then waken up by the usual red light situation , when the laws of physics go against you and say let's throw the kid off. So what i mean is if the bus used brakes in sojme cases i always woke up earlier than if i just turn my phone to remind me to wake up. It was fun though. those nice times ... :D

When I was in highschool I used to sleep on the bus all the time. Especially when they pick me up so early in the morning, and then in the afternoon I was the last one off the bus so I tried to sleep.

If it is a long trip, for example it takes about more than 2 hours i usually have a short sleep in bus. Becuase there is nothing to do instead of reading books or news from the phones.
