Who created evil? And in your own opinion, What is evil?

For me! Evil is human being's creation, God do not create it but we did. God give the freewill to think and decide for ourselves. Evil is the absence of God in an individual. If the person do not believe that there is god, there fore the chance of doing cruel things is high. If a person do not believe in God, there will be no teachings of God that will prevent him to do bad things, and that is evil.

Evil is a matter of interpretation. What is evil to some is not evil to others. What is good to some is not to others. Therefore it is not good or evil it just is. GOD is the same, it is an interpretation. One man's GOD is not another man's GOD, therefore does GOD exist? I don't believe that the absence of GOD is evil. Look at all the horrible things that have been done in the name of GOD. More blood has been spilled in the name of GOD than anything else. I agree doing bad things is a choice as well as doing good. One does not have to believe in GOD or religion to do good things and make the right choices.

Are you an atheist? In the first place, How will you know the right or wrong if there are no teachings to you about what right is wrong? Do you know what is right or wrong even as young as you are in the womb of your mother? How do your mother, teaches you the word good and evil? What is the basis of the teachings? To where did your parents or guardian get the knowledge about good and evil? Where do the teachings of good and evil came from? Is there a book that teaches good and evil without the word GOD? Where did the word good and evil came from? If there are no religions or GOD? Then in the first place the word good and evil that we know will not exist. Because there will be no teachings about it. How will a person can do good things if he/she doesn't know something about the word GOOD and EVIL? If one do not believe in God how will he know if what he is doing is right? How can a people know the right thing, if he don't know what is the difference between the two? If a man doesn't know the the meaning of good and evil because of it's absence, do you think the wrong doings can also be called good and the good deeds can be called evil? How will you know the so called freewill to make a person choose the right thing, if someone do not believe in God? What is evil in the first place? is Satan real? does it goes on the level of God? let's say there is no GOD, do you think you will even exist? Have you seen the past? Do you know how people was created? Let's say humans came from the primates? Have you seen how the primates was made? Have you seen how the earth was made? Or have you seen the whole galaxy? Have you ever been there? Have you touched other planets? Everything has a beginning right? So can you tell me how the Universe begun, without the Divine creation theory? And please explain it to me precisely and accurately so i can understand, have you seen a nucleus in real life? But you do believe in it right? God is very different from religion my dear, God is the supreme being, that everybody believes in, religions is just a matter of groups that divides the people and with different teachings, but all in all, people have the same belief about the Supreme Being/God the creator, if you are thinking why there is a Jihad, have you read the Koran? Koran have good teachings if only people will try to understand it deeply. Bible also does, but why are there conflicts and blood has been spilled? That is because of the wrong teachings. The wrong interpretation of God and religion. So still there is an absence of the right knowledge about God and his teachings, that makes people evil or let's just say do bad things.

No I am not an atheist. I don't believe in any one thing. I take what makes sense in all and ask questions about the rest. If you are taught right and wrong then your thought of it is but an opinion of the teacher. That is why I say that things are not good or evil that they just are. What we know in our mothers womb is also up for discussion. There are many different beliefs on the subject. Yes there are teachings about right and wrong with out GOD. The concept if we take GOD out of it, is KARMA. We are responsible for our own teaching of right and wrong. When we do things that are not right for ourselves we will find it out by what happens to us. Same goes for when we do right by ourselves. The phrase good and evil is man made. Where did the term good and evil come from? I believe it started in the time when people had only the sun, the moon and the planets. To them the sun was good, the night was evil, because of the effect they had on their crops. They looked to the sky for answers. One does not have to know GOD or the words good and evil to find the consequences of their freewill. Is Satan real? I believe Satan is real to those that believe it just as GOD is real to those that believe it. I only exist to those that believe I do, so I would exist to some with or without GOD. I believe I have seen and lived in the past. I know that people are made of energy that has no beginning or end therefore never created but just is. So no I don't believe everything has a beginning. It is something man made up to be able to comprehend things. I would suggest you research science and the theories of how the earth was made. It is very interesting. Things about nature and our existence is so much bigger when you take GOD out of it. I am glad you said GOD is different than religion because people seem to think it so and base their thoughts on good and evil upon it. However, calling me dear like I am some ignorant child is in my eyes evil, because it implies that you think I am ignorant, yet shows arrogance. More blood has been spilled in the name of GOD, which is really EGO that one does not agree with another, than anything else. So is religion evil? You think yours is right and they think theirs is. Does that mean either one is right?

Choosing evil has nothing to do with whether you believe in God or not. Choosing evil is done simply because those who choose do not understand the consequences of evil for all.Lessons will follow. God did create the possible selection of evil. How can you have day without night?? How can you learn what are good choices and bad choices without all the choices possible.

Is there a thing that produces night? Like sun produces the day? Because of the rotation and revolution of the earth the Sun will go up and the Sun will go down then there it is, Night and Day. But is there really a thing that produces Night like the Sun? is there a star that produces light just like the Sun? None right? Cause Night is just the absence of the Sun, God created freewill but God did not create evil, evil is a wrong doing of people because of the freewill and the absence of the belief in God. That is why it is called freewill. Anyway what does freewill means? And you said at first "choosing evil has nothing to do whether you believe in God or not" but you also say that "God did create the possible selection of evil"? Isn't that contradicting? I'll return the question to you. How can you have night without a day? Without a Sun? How can you learn good and bad choices without the teachings of God and or religion? How can you have the freewill that God gave us? Anyway it's nice to have people like you who have that good kind of critical thinking and reasoning. Thank you so much for your response.

Evil is doing anything that displeases God. Evil came into being when Satan the Devil rebelled against God. God = good Devil = evil

I never read it or thought about it in this manner but this is really good. This is the way it happens in this world we live in. We are not born evil we learn evil from the environment unfortuntely. So when someone lives without God in their lives evilness is able to creep into our lives. God is good and I Pray to God so evil will not ever penetrate inside my brain or soul. Thank the dear Lord.

Hi Rjvb, We were given the 10 commandments to guide our actions as we continue to love God and our neighbors. Any violation of the ten commandments is an evil deed for me.
