Do you believe in spirits?

I do believe in spirits although i haven't seen one but i do believe. Science is far too young to understand things in this world. My belief on spirits is like how i believe that there is God. Do you believe in love? If you do? Then have you seen love? Have you touched it? Have you seen it's color? I believe in love! I love to love people and i love to be loved, Love can be felt but not touched. Love can only be seen by hearts. Do you believe in darkness? If you do, well it's your own point of view and thinking. But me i don't, If it is night, we can still see, and we can put on the lights if it is night time. Darkness is only just the absence of light. Have you seen your own brain? Touched it? or even Seen what is happening inside? You don't right? But i am sure you do believe that you have a brain. That is my interpretation on my belief in God!
Credits for Albert Einstein, LOL! I always read his teachings, principles and some books about him. I am not saying that i am as genius as him, but we have the same principles in life and thinking. Thinking is different from intelligence. That's all! How bout you?

spirits is a twisted topic that confusions all around the world .well it is said that by newtons law energy is neither produced nor destroyed it just changes from one from to another . so perhaps our energy after we die should also transform into spirits.but thats just a concept . many people have taped ghosts on video cameras.well i would like to say that if they are ghosts then how were they caught on camera??
i am not sure with the spirits thing that much . but i dont say that i dont beleive them . i beleive that there is a natural power that controls us . most of us call it GOD .i beleive in GOD . so i should beleive in ghosts too ... but still not sure about it.i am more rational kind of person so it is hard for me to accept anything without valid proof

Wow! To see is to believe. I will contradict you with that and or argue you with that. Because it is your belief, yeah sometimes it also confuses, well that goes for humans, we are too human to understand things that only God can. thanks for your reply and have a nice day.

yeah there are many things that only GOD can understand and we cant .....einstein also tried to find out the secret but was unsuccesful and only proposed a half theory called string which if true changes everything that believed in

I do agree that the ability to think is not the same as intellectual intelligence and I also agree that there is more to life than what we see, hear and touch. Just the everyday occurrences that we take for granted. Who determines the direction of those things we cannot control? To me it is apparent that there is a power greater than us at work and as far as spirits go, aside from personal experiences that I have had I have reason to believe that the soul cannot possibly die.
So, yes I believe that those who have passed can sometime still be around us, I am not always sure of the reasons but I do think that there is such a thing as a spirit.

Hello rjvh26, i believe that 'spirit' is just a word which connects our world from the world we cannot know about. I agree with you, science is far too mature to understand the things in the world. I for one, need proof to believe in something. I cannot base my facts on simply on words. I need scientific evidence.

Do I believe in spirits? I've experienced spirits on the farm I grew up on so what do you think?
Have I seen love?..Twin tower bombings, Iraq, a burning building, an interstate pile-up and the acts of heroism in the aftermath..YES, I have seen love!
Do I believe in darkness? Darkness is not simply the absence of light. It is the absence of life..I have crossed paths with a spirit that would have a would be intellectual, as yourself, pissin' in his drawers..Yes, I believe in darkness.
Have I seen my own brain?..I have seen the results of its existence in this discussion, so, yes I have seen my own brain.
Creativity is different from intelligence..Thinking can be applied to either.

ya rjvb i believe also the spirits .we cant see air in the atmosphere like that we cant able to see them but we can feel at any time,anywhere also.......

A very interesting and thought provoking post rjvb. I didn't believe in spirits until I saw a shadow on a wall moving behind me. It was not an illusion, and there was no logical explanation for it. Since then some mysterious things have happened.

Hi, rjvb26! Yes, i do believe in spirits. I was raised to believe different than i do, because of my religion. I have always believed even though we can't see something does not make it any less real. You can't see the wind, you can only see the effects such as the leaves moving on the trees or feel it on our skin, but it is real. I do believe in God, and i also believe in spirits.

I do believe that there are things in this world that is beyond our comprehension. I believe in the existence of a higher being and spirits. The supernatural or paranormal, whichever way you refer to it. If we exist then who is to say that other things out there don't? I tend to keep an open mind.

I do believe in spirits. I have a spirit in my house. I believe it is a child. When I was pregnant I moved into my house. It started when the door bell would go off about 3 times a month at about 3 am, it stopped after my daughter was born. It was pretty quiet until after she learned how to walk my husband and I would be in bed and hear what sounded like the foot steps of a child. We thought it was or daughter. It always stops at the bedroom door and never enters. One of us would get up thinking it was our daughter and there is nothing there. This happens all the time at my house. We just accept it and carry on.

Science is far too young to understand religion but can both compromise if well studied. Who created the Sun? Do you know who created it? Did man created it? Why do the word science exist? Because of man right? But can man create the Sun? According to Science "that is your religion" Everything that we saw and we believed in have a beginning. So can you explain to me how the whole galaxy begun? Can you explain to me the real secret of life? Science already tried it's very best just to answer those questions that keeps playing in our minds, and still trying, until now there are still no answers. So how can you say that you do not believe in God? If God do not exist, why do science have the thirst on studying it's secrets? Till now science can't still understand the things that are unexplainable.

But the word spirit exist? If they are not true people will not even bother discussing it here and the word about spirit will Not even exist. And people will never talk about it because they do not know such a word. Do you believe in air? I am assuming you do cause you are alive right now you are breathing. But we cannot see the air right? But it do exist. Do you believe in love? Such word exist but have you touched it? have you seen it visible? anyway thanks for being true to your self and thanks for such an honest response.
