Hey hey Indian democracy is worst democracy. Do you find any good leader? So how will democracy find a good player? Talent should be a criteria. Player like Irfan pathan should be in player. Player like Shewag should be out of team.

no,the team cannot be choose by Democratic method as India is a country of more than 100 crore people and cricket is the religion of India and every people will have their ow+n team supporting their ow+n favorite player, but by this team cannot succeed and choosing players from a list of 100 crore will be too difficult...the present system is the best but the BCCI members should concentrate in nourishing young players such that we will have a bright future in cricket...

Hi,Yes,Kush, since Gundappa..Gavasker period to Dhoni period, many people criticize that Indian cricket team is full o politics and disparity starting from selection of players to support giving to captain.
The first one is involved and related to influenced members, politicians, regional feelings.
The second one is if a captain is not interested to one player,he may not play well up to their standards.
So as you said voting/democracy way of selection or both captain and players is the best.Still here also problems, different state people vote for their own state layer..just there is a chance in India.
