I think simple divorce is not solution of her problem. In my opinon she need to talk with her husband and try to sort out all that problems or week points of their realtion whom are resposible for .I think affair is not much stronger realtion ship in comparision to realtionship between husband and wife, but if doubt and problems ocurs they convert this stronger realtionship into very sensitive glass which once break very dificult to rejoint .So,i suggust her atleast one time she talk with her husband and try to save her relation. because if their realtion breaks not only she suffered but also her 8 month baby have to suffered a lot life time.. God bless Her ..

Dear peter790702, she can go to the court house and get a copy of her married certificate . If there isn't one then she isn't married. In life it takes 2 , and yes her rights are protected by law.tell her to go to the DHS office, that is Department of health. and ask for help . they will help her with the baby. and make him pay. hope everything comes out ok for her and the baby.

For a newbie a very serious discussion. Well not to worry, even if there is no marriage certificate, there are D.N.A. tests, which will show that he is the father of the baby, and of course the mother might not get a big maintanance, but the father will be forced to pay for the baby's upbringing.
