Do you believe that luck is very important in a persons success or is it only the hard work which is important, i think that luck is extremely necessary for a person to succeed in life.

That's so true, but I guess how you define success depends so much on your environment. If you are poor, success is define by wealth, when you are in a well to do country, success is define by happiness. If you are from the oppressed, you may say success is a matter how free you can be. So it's different from person to person, and different culture and places.

In my eyes, obviously, luck is an important part that etermines success in one's life? In fact, I have been thinking about this question since a long time.
No pain, no gain. If one want to be successful, hard work is important and all people won't get success if he/she is a lazy one. But without luck, people won't succeed easily. Of course, if a person believes only in luck, he just buys lottery tickets,
and then wait for success, which is impossible for most people.
When one is determined to succeed in his life, the whole world wants him to win. When you do hard work through all your efforts, and luck comes, you never miss that luck.
and then wait for success, which is impossible for most people.

You are absolutely right. Hard work alone is not going to help. You need a element of luck. I have seen so many people, who did not do hard work, but with luck and foresight have become quite big. So, Yes luck is a very important point to succeed in life.

I am a person that does believe in luck, but I don't believe that you need to have luck to be someone that can succeed in life. It's just like the saying practice makes perfect. If someone really wants to do something in life they can. They don't need luck to do that, they just need the patience and the thing inside there body which shows they are interested in this. I love this saying that I made up and I will say it again. There is no obstacle in life that you cannot pass.

The only reason I believe in luck is the fact that sometimes I can't believe how unlucky I am. Sometimes, a lot of things seem to conspire just to give me a hard time. I must have disturbed or angered some luck fairy in a netherworld to deserve these misfortunes.
I know that this can all be changed by attitude, but I guess I am just a bit jaded. Which brings me to an earlier discussion I started about being jaded.
